I have just acquired a blue streak, just like the one I had when I was growing up.
Back then I shot the 20 cal pellets in the yellow container and don't think there was much of a selection.
Now there are all kinds and I'm looking at the JSB Heavies . Just need to find a good all round pellet for plinking and hunting .
Let me know what shoots well in your Sheridan.
thanks

mine still likes the sheridan cylindrical in the yellow plastic container. ;D while they may be old collectibles i still shoot them.

Times have changed.... My .20 cal Sheridans NEVER Shot the 'Yellow Box" Sheridans well. Back in the day I always shot the 'Red Box' Diablo or Diabolo pellets and they worked great... The difference was so pronounced that if I went to buy pellets and they were out of the red box pellets I would not even buy the yellow box. It was very frustrating knowing how well my rifle worked and how I coudn't hit anything with the appropriately nicknamed 'Trash Cans"...
The 'new' Benjamin cylindrical pellets work very well for me and I have read many times that they seem to work well for many...
JSB's have a great reputation across the board if they work well for you please let us know...
Good luck with your new old gun!!!! Greg

I've only shot the yellow box dans, red box dans and the Benjidan cylindricals. The red box dans are probably the most accurate of the three in my guns but the Benjidan cylindricals do work well. I've been wanting to try the JSB Diabolo exacts but haven't gotten around to ordering any yet. I didn't know that JSB made a heavy in .20 cal, where did you find them?

My sheridan loves the 13.73 JSB's

Sorry , I was thinking JSB 177 heavies
No heavies in the 20, I will be trying the JSBs soon in the Sheridan
Thanks for the advise to everyone

i back yall up on the jsbs bothmine shoot them very well i lalso have the benji cylindricals they dont do bad but its a discernible difference from the jsbs

the Benji cylindrical pellets stack or mostly slam into the pellet shot beforehand in my pellet trap. I almost never get to examine the intact skirts of the first 8-9 pellets shot out of 10. At 20m on crude yellowbeak-shaped targets, headshots. If I try my normal bullseye (traced & filled the inside of a CD/DVD/Bluray) at that same distance I have trouble focusing open sight. Since mine doesn't have the holes drilled to mount a peep sight, I'm limited to that, unless I get an intermount. I'll probably stick to open sight for now.
Plus they are the cheapest 5mm, so I'm very satisfied with them.
I have 3/4 of a yellow with the old trashcans... good name for em. They're alright, but since my supply is limited i've only shot a few dozen of them.
Recently picked up a new old stock looking (still had a hardware store price tag sticker sealing it) yellow for $7, expecting to have the old pellets, but I wasn't vigilant enough, turned out it was a Benji-Sheridan instead of Sheridan logo and had what looked like the modern Benji cylindrical in it.

I cant believe no one mentiond crosman premiers! Still seems to best the JSBs in all my sheridans.
-
The benji cylinders work well for me however I do like the predator poly mags for tree rat control.
-
i like the predator polymags also they seem to shoot well in all my guns

My '73 blue streak likes the jsb's the best, shotguns the Benjamin pellets. H&N are a close second . That's all I have tried lately just go back to jsb.

All I had to shoot out of my Blue Demon was some old Diablos and a few Trash Cans, both shoot equally well at 20 yards, waiting on and order from PA that has my JSBs in it...

Yeah still, I started an incident with FedEx, the delivery date says n/a, so I am having them investigate...

I have two blue Streaks, a steroid from Tim at Mac-1 and a brand new one. Both shoot one hole groups with Kodiaks. I had an old box of Crosman Premiers that were accurate in the steroid. The new box is not. JSB pellets are a close second in both rifles.

Oh boy...
Fed-ex has been pretty good with me. It's UPS I dred!! I have actually not placed orders when UPS was the only shipping option. On the other hand I have nearly 100% perfect for THOUSANDS of shipments with priority mail USPS!!

I've tried a few more pellets since my first post on this thread. I've found that my Dans really like the Webley & Scott Accupels and they are reasonably priced compared to some of the other options out there.

I have seen them. But PA dosen't carry that brand. Maybe I'll look and see what I may need and try a tin too.

I've Been using the JSB Exact 13.70 grain and the Sheridan Cylindrical 14.4 grain for with good results. I'm half through the Straight Shooters sample pack and so far the JSB Exact 13.70 is clearly the best with the cylindricals a close second.
