That's a serious looking piece of kit. I got the Disco in a few days ago, and am really, REALLY, impressed. I debated on taking the plunge for a while, like 2 weeks that felt like 2 years. Now that it's here, while I do love my springer, I grab the Disco more times then not. However, until the TKO brake is here, shooting in the backyard is still the realm of the springer. The Disco is just too loud right now, but dang, the accuracy is crazy. It's almost clinical.

hey bubba z why not just buy a regulated hpa tank for ur qb and have a regulated pcp much cheaper lol
-
u aint kidding John im sitting in 47 shots at 21 fpe with 15 fps extreme spread on a 2600 fill lol standard dev was like 7 fps lol

Well because I have 8 of the older Brass Eagle tanks for my QB and have been happy running CO2 believe it or not. The local scuba shop is not so local that HPA would be easy unless I bought the tank and all the other stuff. By that time I am a couple hundred bucks towards the Talon SS ;D.
I get about 200 shots (maybe less) from those tanks so its a while before I have to fill back up.

The Disco's are nice as well as the Mrods. If the right deal came up I might go Mrod, but for now saving nickels by eating neighborhood cats and not buying other air guns.

For me, the Talon Ss was a challenge to get to shoot to potential. realized that the balance point was right at the grip, and just above that was a pretty good sized weight running on a pretty decent spring...so it was a bit hold sensitive (esp. to how you grip the grip). Once I learned it's quirks, can count on it as a very accurate shooter.
Ran it as a PCP...ran it as a CO2...ran it as an HPA. Other than how fast it shot, the targets were just as good at 11 foot pounds (co2) as at 25 foot pounds (PCP), so select your power source according to your needs.

Well funny thing as I was going to update this thread.
After some late night reading and looking at what I can get with my cashola, I am 90% certain that I will buy a M-rod. So if yours is in .177 I'll take it LOL!
