Just pulled th trigger on mrod 25. New scope rings, pump and 4 cans of benji domed pellets!! Hopfulliy itll show up Friday. I had two cans each of the benji and h&n FTT but I saw how light they were and the videos I saw were all using either the benjis or the exacto kings so I went with all the same. I hope I didn't screw that up. Anyone use the FTT in 25 on the mrod? I know ther about the best for my xl1100 in 22 cal. That's why I was buying them. Can't believ I spent this much on a pellet gun. I always wanted a 17 cal powder burner but didn't want to spend that kind of cash. What has happened to me? I could have replaced my colt 1911 for a few bucks more....

You will love it !! I have ordered JSB Exact pellets 3 times now. I use a scuba tank with a Hill Pump top off.

Your going to love the .25 MROD. I shoot only .25 JSB 25.4 gr Exact King in mine. They shoot great. There may be others that shoot as good, but I know the JSBs, and they are reliable.
I bought these from ebay, Silhouette-Shooting-Targets. I have a 100yard range to set them up on. They make a great sound when a 25gr. JSB smacks them over

Thanks, has anyone used (with compressed air) the larrge(eris) empty co2 bottles sold at Walmart for paintball? I'm pretty much tapped for funds now and can't afford a real tank but I saw these for $20-30 bucks. Do you get more shot count per volume with co2? There is a paintball shop in a pawnshop in alabaster I think I could get if filled with co2 if it were worth it or the fire dept (air) the fitting to use with mrod seams cheap enough. Thanks

I haven't tried the CO2 tanks. I lucked up and got a used Scuba tank and our local dive shop for $120, and they refill it for $5.00

Congrats on the 25mrod ur gona luv it! I own a .22 &.25 mrod and I shoot the jsb exact kings 25.39 gr and the benjamin domes 27.8gr and both pellet shoots extremly well outta mine which the .25cal isnt that pellet picky as my .22 is!! The benji domes are a lil hard lead which will penitrate a skull a lil easier imo. Like every one else says welcome to our addiction...o and by the way I just bought a big bore yesterday!!! ADDICTION!!

It is not worth shooting Co2 in a .25 Marauder. You did not mention your fill source so am guessing you got a pump, That will work fine. Welcome to the Mrod Club, you will be amazed a gun like that existed.... Be prepared your powder burners are about to collect a lot of dust!

Ok now I'm a little it teed off. I went ahead and ordered everything from pa cause they had it in stock and as long as I ordered before noon it should have shipped today. I ordered it at 11pm last night and it looks like it didn't get filled today. That means I've got a long weekend but my stuff won't be here in time. My order is still in the approved stage and I didn't get a tracking order. Dang this not worthy.

pretty sure i had a chat with you today about that ? if so i think ur good to get it friday or saturday even if ships out tomorrow. i think my last personal order got to me here in texas in 2 days after being shipped outi dont count the actual day it leaves the business. so that would put it on saturday when shipped on thursday..

DO NOT FILL CO2 PAINTBALL TANKS WITH HPA. they are rated for a certain pressure that im willing to bet is far far less then 3000 psi... stick with the hand pump until you find a tank and wait for a scba tank..

You'll love it,,I have 3 of them. One is on a R-9 FT stock (177), I just got one for my grandson Ryan,in 177, and my super sniper 25 cal.
Oh that's not the only one you are going to have, there will be more,,,

My .25 shoots the 31gr Barracuda's really well too. You get a couple shots less but they really hold there energy at longer ranges. They deliver about 20fpe at 100yrds and can hold accurate too.

They are good about getting everything out the door IF it is All in stock. When I order from them I will split the order up into "stuff I want them to ship now" and a second order for "stuff on backorder and I can wait for".
It could be worse. I ordered a new rifle that showed out of stock but estimated in on the 16th. I checked last night and the estimated in stock date is now the 22nd. The magical extending "estimated date". My luck, they will ship it so it arrives on a Monday when I'll be gone all week.
You will love it once it gets there.

Ok I called and it's shipping today and will be here Monday at the earliest. I so glad I decided to support the small guy. It's still at the store but they couldn't cancel the order. Oh well, I get another good weekend next month so it'll probably sit in the box for a few weeks

Congrats on your purchase. You are going to love it. After I Bought my .25 I had to buy one for my son. We also only shoot JSB kings and Benji domed pellets. This is a very accurate rifle.

Wow. Tracking number went active today and shows that it didn't leave the store until today. This is ridiculous.

I've noticed that lately UPS and FedEx tracking has been screwy. Not saying that is what you are seeing.
Once that box hits the door step (don't forget an adult must sign for it...depending on your driver) you will forget all about the delivery nonsense.

Na, I get one good weekend every month or so and I paid more than I had to (could have saved $70 or more if was wiling to wait) in order to have it this week. My delivery date isn't until Tuesday now. Who would beveive me if it sits unopened for three weeks and then I find something wrong. I literally fall asleep in my uniform and just change into a clean one in the morning befor heading back out. I may reorder later but now I've got time to shop around. With the updated models coming out soon, I may even be able to get it at a good discount in march.

Ok, took a day off and opened the box. Pumped it up, shot two mags , pumped up again and mounted my leapers 3x12-44 scope with leapers med mounts. Shot one mag and now I can't get the mag out. Bolt is pulled out, scope mounts aren't touching and nothing is in the way. Is this a common issue? I don't want to force too much and brake something. Did I miss something in the manual or what's going on? Please help. I don't want to loose another day. I've got a long weekend of fence building and wanted to try this thing out. P.S this thing is crazy, it's what I Imagin shooting a laser gun would be like. Pull the trigger and nothing happens, then you look through the scope and your targets gone. I want sure I had actually shot the thing so I did it again and again the target was gone. Nice!!

A picture is worth 1000 words. Can you post one? Make double sure your bolts is pulled all the way.

Sorry, I had to leave for a while. Im guessing the bolt was stuck or something cause when I got back I was able to pull it back just a little bit more and everything released. Thanks
