I have a remington vantage. As most shooters know it's a b-19 variant. The info. I'm looking for is, does anyone know whether a
superstreak (b-22 variant) main spring will fit in the b-19 gun? I assume the b-22 spring will be longer or have more coils. But as
far as fitting on the guide and in the piston are other issues and concerns. I would like to hear from anyone who may have any knowledge on this matter. All help and input would be greatly appreciated.

That is a good question, could be thicker wire and therefore not fit the guide right or the inside of the piston.
I guess only way to find out is to try it, if you hae the 2 rifles to try the swap with.
There is a replacement spring for the quest, at airrifle headquarters. It is the E3650 ultra spring, drop in replacement, however a spring compressor will be needed as it is not a set spring.

I do have the rem. vantage, not the superstreak. I did find some measurements last night. Wire sizes were .118 for the vantage
and .130 for the superstreak. Vantage was 36 coils and superstreak 42. I.D. for the van. was approx. .495 and the superstreak
was .540. I am going to order the superstreak spring along with the rear guide and some other pieces. Looks like there will be
some customizing here and there. I will keep a report of the process and some pics. This will be a spring of 2013 LEARN AS YOU
GO PROJECT for sure!
