That shouldn't be to difficult. It is speced very similar to the Windy City that was recntly reported to be put out 150 fpe stock.

I've been considering the Rainstorm II rifle in 9mm myself. It might be my Valentines present to myself.

This looks quite interesting, do let us know how it turns out. It seems that the gun actually has a shroud inside that bullpup stock, I wonder how much more power one could gain with full length barrel that goes to the bullpup frame and LDC outside it ... In general I have hated Evanix's slotted sheet metal designs but this one doesn't look all that bad.

Manny, get a 22 inches inner barrel for it n it will be great !
With 95 grain wadcutter from Matt, the Windycity is easily getting 140fpe !
Keep us inform what Will do to improve it !
U can get a 22 inches barrel from evanix !
Pm me if u can't get one !
I grinded down the oem value housing such that its exposing more length of the value stem.
I then replace the oem value stem to a 4mm dia. Carbine steel rod.
With 3500psi n a German made hammer spring in higher spring rate...........these 9mm has an improvement potential but not in the same power level as those 909 platforms due to the short hammer stroke restricted by the short receiver of these evanix.
I did mention this power limiting factor to evanix but its not possible to get an elongated receiver nor longer mags as the factory has already stocked  large inventory of parts in this dimension ...............
PS remember to replace the spring in the oem mag to upgraded o ring!
The wadcutter will easily jam n torn / cut through this metal spring in the mag !
I'm talking about the spring that is used to hold onto the ammo , around the mag cylinder !
I used those expensive , Italian made o ring, it's redish in colour ........these are much tougher the average black o ring.
Remember, the max length of 9mm ammo that u can loaded into this mag is 11mm!
U can always hand load longer ammo as ur 1st round though!

Where can I find one of these o rings and what size is needed to replace the mag spring.
Thanks....

I've already figured out how to improve the looks. I just ordered the rifle to begin with. ;)

I intend to use her as is. I'll run her across the chrony once I receive her. What bullet do you have in mind to use with it? I have a decent collection of Matts wad cutters left. Plenty of round ball. A few EPP/UG you sent (type A) in addition to the type B EPP/UG mold I just received. I have a 85-90 grain hollowpoint mold on the way also.

Couldn't let you be the only one to have all the fun 8)

well, The past few months I put alot of work into finding a way to hunt pigs with Break barrels, but after much Testing/shooting  found that I don't think I would feel comfortable in doing so, no problem if it was a desperate situation, but I'm not going to do it in sporting.

this gun was to much to resist, 27", lightweight, repeter, .357 :) :)

I'm going to send the gun to Will with a few tins of the JSB pellets, and I will order some .358 Matt's 75gr wadcutter,...will be looking to purchase EPP/UG from casters if they'll sell them to me :) :)

When you get that bullpup, could you check if it would be feasible to make it a pump action one? I mean it's lever action and the frame is slotted metal sheet, there should be some room inside to make a linkage that would allow you to operate the cocking lever with your left hand from under the stock.

I had a feeling Manny wouldn't last long with Springers :)   Gamo may still be showing the hog hunting video with a .177 Springer, but we know better.

I've missed Manny's hog hunting exploits...I'm sure he did a lot of shooting of springers to determine they just weren't going to cut it when hunting wild pigs. Now he is getting a beast of a bull-pup that might allow for heart/lung shots as well as his famous head shots. We now have something to look forward to in the hunting gate again. Thanks you wild pirate man!

If I know Manny, he will still go for head shots.. and so would I.

The only thing better than being able to track your quarry is not having to.

ETA: I have temporarily canceled my order for the Rainstorm II. They are now predicting it in stock on Saturday the 9th. I think I'll just wait till they have it in stock.

The Headshot will always be my 1st choice, bodyshot only if I'm walking and I stumble on a porker at short distance and need to make it fast :)
