Went to pump up my MRod yesterday and the pump would get some pressure, but never enough to fill the rifle. The pump was extremely easy to pump and sounded a bit as if it was leaking air out as i pumped. This is different behavior than my pump usually exhibits when it goes bad. Usually it gets extremely hard to pull the pump up.
I'll take it apart and inspect O-rings, but I just thought i'd post here to see if any one had a similar experience and diagnosis.
Getting tired of this thing busting all the time. Gonna have to save for a hill mk3.

Same thing with mine. Sounded like a leak and easy to pump. Had to tighten up the nut at the base of the pump, fixed everything.

It took me a little mucking around to figure it out, but it was the bottom "nut" that was loose. It wasnt loose on the outer threads that thread to the base of the pump. Rather, it was loose on the threads that thread to the pump cylinder. It had backed out by about 1/16 of an inch or so.
Thanks again for the tip!
