Title: Trying to get H&N Pellets is a challenge...
Post by: dryanw on January 20, 2013, 08:03:36 PM
I don't think I've found a seller where the shipping cost isn't 90 percent or more of the cost of the pellets. In some cases shipping is more than the pellets. I'm wanting to try some FTTs. Are they worth it?

They are a good pellet, but that doesn't mean your gun will like them!

I get mine from PA on their 4 for 3 deal.  My Sniper 125 and Ruger AH love them!

I'm sure my QB will like them. I haven't found a pellets it won't put 5 of into a 3/4 inch target at 10m. Except Daisy pellets.

If only I could afford $150 worth of pellets....At one time I could but that changed when I fell off my roof early last year.  :'(

The only way to save on the shipping charges is to buy more than one tin.  Or have a local Air Rifle dealer.  AoA has a price for 4 tins, PA has buy 3 get one free.
My last order of pellets from PA for 4 tins cost me almost $12.00 shipping to go less than 400 miles.  They do an excellent job on packing though.  I suggest you call the major air rifle dealers and get a firm quote and go from there.

If it proves to be "the" pellet for your AG, then it is worth the shipping cost.

I always wait until I need other gun items to buy along with them so the shipping is free, especially during one of PA's big sales where shipping is free with over $100 spent. That along with their buck points and 10% discount you can get a good deal on them.

Just tested about 15 types of pellets in a new TX and the .177 FTT's in 4.51 were the bomb. Worth a try.
