Title: Stocking Stuffers
Post by: jdub on January 02, 2013, 04:08:17 AM
I picked up a couple pretty cool goodies as stocking stuffers for Christmas this year.  My son and son in law are both getting into airguns so I took advantage of Hernando's special on the pack of four 1.9 sized Pellcans.  I gave two away and still ended up with two.  These are very nicely machined little works of art.  My daughter, who doesn't shoot, was even impressed.  "Wow Dad, these are really cool!"  High praise indeed.

And then I finally got a medium sized Wilkins Pellet Pouch.  I've been wanting one of these for a while but didn't want to hassle with international shipping.  When Wilkins setup a USA distributer I jumped.  And I'm glad I did.  If you're someone who loves leather and spends as much time picking out a high quality old school leather holster (I recommend DM Bullards) as you do the firearm that's going to sit in the holster, then you will like these pellet pouches.   That rich leather smell and quality feel are both present.  Very cool stuff.

I can't wait to put them both to use!

Thanks guys!  The good thing about these cool little items is that for the cost of a few tins of pellets anyone can have them.  No need to be jealous :)

(well, except for the P1 I used as window dressing :))

Oooohhh! I really like that leather pellet container...puts my perfect Copenhagen tin to shame; would also keep me from dipping lead and shooting snuff!

I have to agree that jdub picked some very nice stocking stuffers. I own three 2.9 Pellcans and a Wilkins Pellet Pouch. Both products are extremely well-made, durable, and well-designed.
