Title: My QB ate a pellet...
Post by: dryanw on December 16, 2012, 06:00:50 PM
Dropped a pellet while loading my QB78 and it dropped down into the rifle. I cant see it any longer. Anybody have an idea where it could have went?!

I had that happen on my .177 cal. The pellet will be in there, quite squished if you keep shooting. I tried shaking and rattling and wiggling it upside down and every which way to no avail.
When I pulled mine apart I found the little gremlin!

Ya I plan to have it apart once my tune kit comes in. I kept firing and you'd never know it was in there but i gotta get it out.

Overall a nice, accurate rifle. Not too picky about pellets and the trigger is nice. Only problems i see are 1: The setscrew that hold the barrel on was canted when they installed it so I imagine Im gonna have problems with those threads. And 2: The screw on the barrel band came broken from FDAR. Im gonna email Mr Mellick and see if he will send me a replacement screw and see what he thinks about the setscrew. I kinda wish the stock was a bit bigger but I plan on buying a target or thumbhole stock for it.
