Title: how often do you have to replace the seals on QB78/maintence on them?

How often do you have to replace seals on the QB78 and what about maintence  i bought some pelloil and put a drop on the co2 every few changes of co2 not to much just a dab any tips on  seals and maintence will be appreciated

Factory seals are not the best. If MM has replaced them, they will probably hold for a few years (guess). I had factory seals fail me with a few weeks... replaced them and been over a year still holding. Keep using your Pelgun oil... good stuff.

Have owned many QBs over the last 12 years or so. Never replaced a seal in any of them. Most were tuned by many of the different tuners over the years. But I never did a lick of maintenance on any of them. Never even cleaned a barrel. 2 of the 3 I currently own were tuned by MM so that may have something to do with it.

I would have to agree with the above comments. Pelgun oil is all it takes and like you said, "just a drop". Unless you know that you have a leak, which many times you will hear, you are good to go. If by chance you think you have a leak; when you put in new carts, only pop them, then allow the rifle to sit for a day. If there is a large difference in power going down, you may have a leak. But, keep in mind, this is very rare with the rings Mike uses.
