Just drooling/dreaming over a under lever, or break barrel springer b/c i only have the sidelever b21. Both the ar3000 and ar2000 look really nice in .22.
I see MM has some AR2000 on order - just want to see if those are actually still available, and ... if the AR3000 is still available any where?
Seems like i always wait too long on this stuff... b40, b58 etc. and they disappear before i can get one. glad i got my b21 when i did :D
Thanks,
Eric

Far as I know, neither the 3000 or 2000 are out of production. Contact Mike at flyingdragonairrifles@hotmail.com and ask him about em.

I have an AR-2000 Jet (Tech Force Jet) and if you want power, it isn't a bad rifle to go for. I'd recommend to you the .22 over the .177 simply because at these power levels, the .22 is beginning to strut its stuff over the .177... It has the thumbhole type stock, which I am not really a fan of but I got used to it eventually, that and the fact you can't get the standard stock version (if there is such a beast). It is quite a big unit, no bad weight-wise compared to other powerful rifles, very average in that respect. It takes a handful or strength to cock, not the first few times, but certainly if you paln to shoot all day. It promises some accuracy and seems to deliver. I can't remember which pellets I use in mine, either JSB Exacts, or Exact Kings or is that Exact Heavies.? Whichever,, use heavier pellets for this one, something in the 16 - 18gr range as it has plenty of power. Mine chronys in at the equaivalent of about 26+ ft-lbs, so that is certainly in the no nonsense bracket - serious power stuff... For a Chinese air rifle, this one is not that badly made and things fit together quite nicely and look reasonably well finished for a cheaper rifle... Would I recommend it - certainly... The only thing I can't comment on is its overall reliability over a longer period of time, because I haven't shot mine enough or owned it long enough to get an answer. I've had it for about 10 months now but I have too many air rifles to keep using one or two of them...

I've got about 1500 shots through mine, and it is holding steady at 27 FPE. It gets dime size groups at 25 yards, and will do under an inch at 50 yards. The only issue I have had was with the stock scope rail shearing off the stop screw. Drilled it out, set up a stronger one, and been good to go ever since. I'm impressed with the fit and finish. Mine is clearly nicer than my Turkish rifles in terms of metal and stock finish, and the durability and reliability has been FAR better.

Ahh ok,
nice to know that they will hang in there. I also had an AR1000, same as the Tech Force 89, which was also a little powerhouse. I like the looks of these rifles but as I said above, I don't really get into thumbhole stock, but I have to admit that the new Diana 470 looks realy nice in the style... The weather's starting to warm up here at last so hopefully I can go for a few strolls and get back into it again. Maybe the 2000 Jet can get some more work in...

ill have to call mike about the ar3000 / tf97 because its got all that i want: decent trigger, fiber optic sights, decent power. The xs28m is super sweet, but i would like to have fiber optic sights so i can shoot into the evening. My eyes strain quite a bit with the xsb-21 when the light gets low, but I really like the simplicity of open sights.
If its not available - ill have to twist my hands over the 28 the 25 and the jet.

I've got one of the Beeman RS2 Sportsmans, also an AR1000 variant and its a great gun. 18 fpe and excellent accuracy. The Jet I am certain has a lot more power potential hidden away inside. I'm going to be adding an aftermarket seal and making a very slight modification which I believe will put it near 30 fpe, without changing ANY other parts. Should be interesting.

Mike should be able to put fiber optic sites on the b28 for you. its a good rifle. drop him a line.

get an xs46u great underlever gun

Call Mike Melick and tel him you want a fully tuned xs46u in 22 cal. or get it with a nitro piston. You'll be one happy camper.

I have the TF87 (AR3000) in .22, and it is a MASSIVE gun. With a scope on it it weighs in at 11 lbs. Definitely not a field gun unless you shoot off sticks a lot. That said, when you find a pellet it likes (mine LOVES the CPHP and the TS-22, haven't tried many though) it is a tack driver. 5-shot groups of under .25" at 10 yards. The trigger gets pretty sweet with a little tweeking as well. I took all of the creep out of mine, and that's without any polishing/stoning. I know PA is no longer carrying much of the Tech Force stuff, but if you can find an 87, get it.

I kind of wish they would put the RS2 trigger in mid powered or lower fixed barrel spring rifle. I would say they are pretty good triggers with a little tweaking.

I had an AR-1000 .177, but I sold it just a while ago. Quite a powerful beast it was. Should have kept ahold of it but it was an easy way out of a situation to sell it, so I did... While I had it though, I tried to fit its stock onto the AR-2000 Jet but no go. The 2000 Jet's body (cylinder) was much longer than the AR-1000's. No show of fitting in, so there's certainly quite a lot of a power difference between them. I have to say the AR-2000 is probably the second most powerful air rifle I have, after the Webley Patriot .25.. It is certainly no slouch...
