I just got a B3-3 the newer version of the B3 rifle I know it's a cheep china rifle but the B3's have all been very accurate and I've had about 4 before this one.and I thought let's see what improvements they made is it worth it. To start with the stock is better not anywhere near what I make but much better than the onl orange B3 stocks it is more of a color of the TF rifles a kind on maroon , and the trigger is better good right out of the box I like the underlever release instead of having to pull the underlever out of a clip that breaks, you just push a button and the underlever jumps out, much better the sights are better too not welded on and more like the other china rifles.Well getting to shooth the thing it cocked nice and smooth after I put some grease on the underlever parts but it made very nice tight groups about 6 inches away from where I was aiming with the windage adjustment all the way to the end , but after centering the windage adjustment and bending the barrel to hit where I was aiming it now does one holer's one pellet on top of the other very accurate and this is with iron sights at about 10 M . All in all I will say it's a keeper not as much work as the old B3's to make better But a nice cheep rifle to have fun with. I haven't taken it apart and checked the seal or the chamber or piston but since it shoots good I'll let it alone some times if you fix something that works it don't work any more, ( if it isn't broke don't fix it. )) Howie1a

No that's a B3-1 Here is a picture of it and what it can do at 10 M it's a B3-3 ( a poor man's B40 ) ha ha howie and that is a 1/8 inch white bull the black bull is 5/8 inchs. I just went out in the shop and shot it for you . I have had the group's tighter too and this is with iron sights at 10 M. Also here is a stock I'm working on for a customer it is for a B3 and I'll post a picture of it finished it still needs a final sanding and stain as well as a poly finish. Howie

I bought my XS38 from someone in the UK, this is the website of the distributor http://sportsmk.co.uk/, (http://sportsmk.co.uk/,) cannot deeplink to the rifle, well I can but it's "deeplink protected" http://sportsmk.co.uk/item/768/ (http://sportsmk.co.uk/item/768/) so you'll have to copy the url here and paste it in a new browser window.

I admit I've been sorely tempted to pick one of these up! ;D

Here is a set of pictures of a B3-3 in a stock I made for Matt , it's on the way to his house as we speak, It fits both the B3-1 and the B3-3 I've tried it on both rifles. Howie

Not knowing anything about Chinese air rifles, and there are a few different ones on this page, does the b-3 have dovetails or drilled for a scope??
Thanks

I have een looking all over this forum for people that have first hand experience with both the b3-3 and b3-1.(which you get both from amazon.com) I want to know which one I should get keeping quality in mind and which one will give me less hassle. also what are the differences between the two.
