Title: Bad Politics and Good Shooting
Post by: maxiedog on October 30, 2010, 07:24:06 AM
OK here we go. Get the MOST out of Bad politics. Are you fed up with all of the MUD slinging that has been going on? Get even.
When the polls close Tuesday- collect all of the political signs that the irresponsible canidates leave behind and take your best shot. Good uses-I use them to set up for target practice. Place them in different areas on a trail or in the field.Print out the Free targets that are available online. I use push pins to hold the targets to the signs,or you can use them the way they are(if you have had enough politics). They also can be cut down to fit your pellet trap.
Who said you can't get even for the BS thats been going on for months. LOL

LOL!!! I got 3 just yesterday that were put on my front lot of my land and with just a little spray adhesive you can paste your targets on them and have a blast. The targets will just peel right off and you can replace them. It is a great idea maxiedog  seems we airgunners think alike.    Thanks David

I've already done this kind of thing.
I sure wish I could find a Nancy Pelosi sign, though.

Very good idea, but a word  of warning, don't remove those signs until after tuesday. A few years ago I read where someone was arrested for removing them prior to the election. I do think it would be ok if the signs were on your land and you didn't want there.

Gary is correct on this matter , at least here in Georgia.  If the signs are on right of way, you had best leave them alone.   The best man at my 1st wedding found out the hard way.

A word of warning.  Around here (the DC metropolitan area), you get caught shooting at those signs, day after the election or not, you might find yourself in hot water, especially if they bear a likeness.  Covered completely, probably OK.  Sure, it's not illegal but explain that to the cops and, eventually, the six o'clock news why you were shooting at politicians, etc, etc.  Right now some sicko has been taking pot shots at the new Marine memorial, the Pentagon and a local Marine recruiting station (that I was at with my son this past summer, no less).  Kind of has everyone keyed up.  Plus it's a sign of the times (no pun intended.)
