Might want to think about this. It has $90.00 shipping cost and is shipped from Ukraine. May be on 50 cycle or some other weird power source.

I agree with DT! Ukraine is the first flag I see; then the weird hookup they have in the UK is another. Plus, IT IS IN THE UKRAINE!
The only thing I saw that looked okay was the brand name. I am not saying it may not be the deal of the century; but I am saying it is in the Ukraine!
Call me cynical and suspicious...............you would be right! ;D

In his own words..."Please note: I can accept Рaypal by company intermediary if items cost no more 500USD"
One more bid and with shipping that puppy exceeds his statement! Hmmmm, I am very weary of overseas purchases!

I can guarantee that you do not want to bid on this item. First, Ukraine electricity is 240 volts...house current. 2nd..it is 50 Mhz cycle.
Our system is 120 volts household and 60 Mhz cycle. The shipping would be more than $95 and you would have to change out wiring, electric motor and posiblly other electrical components.
No matter how cheap you could get it, it's gonna cost ya more in the long run.
Save your money and buy a shoebox.

Its already gone, went for $1,138. Probably hotter then a tin roof in a Texas summer anyway.

That is not so big an issue as it might appear. 50 Hz, not 50 Million Hz only sets the speed, feeding it 60 Hz power will make it spin 6/5 times as fast...and I don't see an issue there. Internal switches set to run off 50 Hz will do just fine on 60 Hz....and since the voltage is the same, if there are internals that run off low voltage DC, the rectifiers/regulators will have no issue there, cause the peak voltage is the same.
Notice I did not bid on it, but I have bought a fair bit of stuff out of Ukraine, Russian Federation and Lithuania with absolutely nooooo issues yet.
cheers,
Douglas

You were lucky then.............too many scams from these countries from what I have read and seen. I prefer to buy where the shipping does not pass numerous stops/ports/customs if I can. Once again, call be cautious; suspicious; and even cynical.......and you would be correctomundo! ;D
