Last year came upon an old thread on another AG message board that stuck in my head as really cool ! ( an aluminum one made with screws and such with crude hand tools )
Took the idea and refined it into more precision part.
Retained the 2 stage adjustments ( Two 4-40 solid head grub screws ) and all other OEM trigger attributes within the factory trigger block.
* Billet design allow length of pull to adjust by loosening a 4-40 screw base of Red trigger post allowing post to slide forward or back, side to side on the 8-32 screw shank.
* Delrin trigger shoe can rotate on the Red blade post for ideal finger orientation.
Just another FUN project on a rainy day ....
Regards,
Scott

Your fans are assembling. Very nice work.
How did you get the nice evenly rounded and polished edges on the trigger shoe?
Please don't just say "sand paper and patience." I bet you have a slick method.
Thanks,

No clue How this turned into a "I will take one" thread ?
Thank you for the cudo's, but idea of sharing is so others may be a tad less intimidated in doing something similar.
lloyd,
Ah .... yea a semi round spoon file and then strap sanded with strips of 220 emery cloth to break edge of finger contour.
Body of shoe starts out as a 1 1/4" disk of round delrin, smile that becomes the finger face done by cutting a "Moon" smile on one edge with a 1" end mill and then machining the final shape step by step. Easy enough doing, just time consuming.
Glad you guys like it ! ... now get out into the shop and go make yourself something unique ;D
