Title: 2 dressed up QBs for your viewing pleasure (lots of pics).

I have been dressing up and fine tuning two new-to me QBs. They are both detuned to Canadian  specs, so under 500fps. Here they are in near final form:

First, QB79 .177 running on a modified 90g CO2 refillable cylinder. Shoots CP Domed Field Target 7.9 gr at 493-497 fps, and puts 5 pellets into  a .25" single hole at 10m. Nicknamed "The Silver Bullet", decked out in aluminum bling including muzzle weight, end-caps, and lock nut. Oversize polished steel bolt handle rounds it out.

Next,  QB78D .22 running tethered to a CO2 tank (or regulated HPA tank or standard 12g CO2 carts). Shoots CPHP 14.3 gr at 495-499 fps on CO2, and puts 5 pellets into  a .375" single hole at 10m. Nicknamed "Goldilocks", decked out in brass bling including muzzle weight, end-caps, and lock nut.

Not typically a fan of the bronze/gold look, but Goldilocks looks pretty sweet! What's the piece called or where did you get the tethered tank adapter? Does it just simply replace the original end cap or does it require modifications? I'd love the option to have a tethered tank (when i can mange to get one filled) but still go to the 12g when I cant...

I absolutely love my QB79, but cant find anyone to fill my 9oz tank around here and the 88g AS tanks are such a waste of money... Still planning on getting a 78 here soon!

The bulk fill end cap is available from your Industry Brand (SAG) dealer, or you can make one quite easily. I have machined one, just waiting for a QD fitting to finish it up. From my friends on the UK Chinese Forum:
