Took this with my Mike Melick tuned Jet. Crow magnum at approximate 45 yrds offhand. Obviously I was going for a head shot, but it "looked" like the rabbit flinched when I fired. Can't be sure because the recoil makes holding a sight picture difficult once you let fly. Regardless, the damage this pellet did at that range is impressive. The hole is big enough to slip a thumb into, and the angle of the shot sent the pellet down into the vitals leaving shredded tissue the whole way. Never seen a hollow point penetrate like that. This rabbit simply fell over, kicked two or three times and was done. Came up on him unexpectedly in the open with nothing to brace against and he saw me immediately but froze rather than bolt, so I took the shot offhand.

Nice kill bro! Those Crow Mags do some damage.

Impressive shooting.

Thanks. Don't normally post my kills, but that damage was just too impressive to not put out there. Waiting on some Skenco Ultramag's and look forward to trying em in the Jet. If they're accurate, some varmints are in trouble;)

Good shooting! I got a couple of squirrels a few years ago with the 350 .22 using the Crow Mags at around 22.5fpe. The exit holes were large and they bled out completely. At the time I posted an 18.2gr Crow Mag that I had recovered. It was pretty flat and round with a dimeter of 0.31". I was impressed with the expansion.
