Went out for a eve hunt...around 4 o'clock a healthy 5 pt trotts in about 50 yards.he was quartiring towards me but with enough angle to hit all the goodies.I let the 130 gr hollow point fly..complete pass through! He stubled 20-30 yards, hit the ground and let out a grunt and that was all he had left. That was fun! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;DPeople really cast doubt on these guns but they are no toys...not at all

Congrats! Nice shooting!
-
Nice shot. Lets see a pic of his horns ;)
-
Horns were pitiful ;DIf I were bow hunting I'd have let him walk but I'd nevver took one with a air rifle so he was more of a test run :P
-
I'd say test passed.
-
nice job,well done.

Very nice!

Nice job. In MO we have to have a minimum of 40 caliber in an Airgun.
-
Va it is any rifle larger then a .223!
-
Nice job bud!
-

-
Wow. Thats a nice harvest!

Finally I get to see a deer harvested with an airgun. Way to go, awesome shot placement!!!
Thanks for sharing!
-
That is awesome! That motivates me to try to take one with this 909 light hunter I just got. Is your recluse stock?
-
Outstanding brother adnthat's the way you fill up the icebox. I personally never put to much thought or concern into the rack size since what my dad says still echos in my ears...can't eat the horns and we aint going for trophy's were filling the belly. Ed

Nice shooting.
I passed on a spike yesterday morning and couldn't get a shot at a larger buck right at sunset. Maybe today.
-
Jeremy, is the bullet one you cast or purchased?
-
The gun is tuned and the bullet is one I made.I got a lee .38 fn 130 gr mold converted into a hollow point mold.Bullet comes out around 126 gr. but in my opinion and experience with the gun before it was tuned you will have no problem putting one on the ground if you hit where your supp to.That goes for the 909 too.Tuning gives them more power but even stock they will put the smackdown on critters ;D Our season just came in so Im hoping to get atleast 2 more.Im gonna tote the 909s for awhile to get one with that as'well.pics will be posted.Ill also put more pics up on this deer when I skin it today to give you a idea of the shock of the bullet around the wound.should be good cause it hit him hard..loud thump ;D ;D ;D

Nice shot and harvest!
-
I can dig it!!!
Jealous!

I cleaned the deer up today and man..you would not believe the trauma that bullet caused. It looked like he was hit with a muzzleloader.Broke one rib going in and one coming out.I took some pics of the shoulders after he was skinned so Ill get them up soon but his whole front side was bloodshot.Exit wound was too...about a 3 inch circle but the the front was way worse must have absorbed a lot of the energy

Great shooting, love the big game pics.
