Title: 1322 Takes One At 23 Yards.
Post by: Mark5043 on November 16, 2012, 10:43:31 PM
My newest carbine build just lost it's virginity recently.Nutter down instantly with 23 yard head shot, using a Predator Polymag...  ;)

Great shooting. I love my converted 1322. Thought about getting a new 2289 but I would like a longer barrel.

Thanks guys! The 1322's are a hoot. It's such a fun little shooter, and this one happens to be really accurate. On par with my modded Discovery "accuracy wise" out to 30 yards. After that the Disco takes over obviously.@ Inmartin, here is a couple pics of my set up,and build details, from the CAPO Forum.....

Here's a live photo of the second, and third that went down a couple days later, with the 1322...head shots as well."A shot, before the shots..No pun intended"...  :D

Popped the one on the right first, and the one on the left scampered for cover. But I got him a few minutes later...  ;)

Benjihunter...Actually I saw the pic of your carbine a while back, and it gave me some inspiration towards building one up.I actually didn't think I'd build up a pumper, but sometimes my PCP is too much gun,and the Co2 22XX builds don't work as well during the cold months.Glad I took the leap... 8)

A 13xx is perfect for small game like rats and squirrels. ;)

I'm finding that out rather quickly!...I like the idea of a self contained gun, that requires minimal support equipment in the field.I honestly think it will make me a better shooter as well, due to having lower power than I'm used to...That's a good thing.Makes me really have to focus, and think about what I'm doing out there,to get those clean kills. So far I'm 100% one shot one kill, and I'm really happy with this gun.....

That's one thing I like about them.
You are forced to aim and hit where it hurts most.
And that will make you a better shot.

BTW, I think it's a waste of money to use Polymags in a 13xx.
They are not powerful enough to make the Polymag expand the way it should.
A round nose JSB will do the trick as well. And they are cheaper.

I hear you on the Polymags, and realize it's kind of a waste. But those are what I have on hand pellet wise until I do an order for more ammo.I usually use just the cheap Crosman pointed Hunters...they seem to work well with many Crosman barrels...

Try JSB Exact 15.9 grains. They are very accurate in my 1322.
