Title: Crosman barrel assembly
Post by: lurch420gam on November 14, 2012, 01:44:57 AM
Does anyone know if a barrel assembly ordered from Crosman includes the linkage and link pin? I'm pretty sure the assembly includes the breach seal and detent and detent spring, but I'm not sure about the other parts. Just want to find out for sure before I order. I know, I know...call Crosman and find out, lol. I figured I'd ask here first. Thanks! Joel

Last barrel I received from Crosman parts which was a .22 titan ....
Bare barrel & block containing NO Plunger or spring, No Pivot bushing, No breech seal.

As stated before, I do believe that you must order the entire assembly, best to ask and ensure you get all required parts.

Just spoke with Cameron at Crosman. The barrel assembly is a bare breech block, barrel and muzzlebrake only. Also have to order a breech seal, jam spring, alive jam, adjust washer, link pin, and lever assembly to make up a complete barrel that can be swapped out with the existing .177 setup to convert to .22. This way, I'll still have the complete setup just in case I want to switch back without cannibalizing parts. I will reuse the pivot bolt and pivot sleeve, and order up the brass pivot washers. I didn't place the order, as it's all on my Christmas wish list, but the whole shebang should cost less than $30, and he confirmed that the parts are in stock. Not too shabby to have a Crosman B-19 with dual caliber capability that can be swapped out in less than 10 minutes. Joel

I ordered a barrel for a trail Xl and it came with barrel/block/spring/alive jam/pivot bushing.  Needed link pin and breach seal for swap.  If your gong to keep two barrels ready to use, then I need the cocking arm as well.  I also got a .25 cal shroud cap to be sure there's plenty of room for the pellet to travel through.
