hi guys the stock on my trail np xl is rubbing on the side of the barrel on the right side of the gun. The left side spacing is good any one knows how to center the stock?

If you've recently purchased, I'd be tempted to contact Crosman and let them replace it.

A picture of the issue would be most helpful at this point. It may be as simple as an over-tightened forearm screw or possibly bad washers at the pivot point as they all come with plastic.

Stock forearm sounds to be warped. I had a similar issue on a Quest. Solved it by putting a rubber O-ring around the front stock screw hole on the receiver to act as a spacer on the one side. I glued it in place with a drop of superglue. It is a bit MacGyver (or Red Green) but does the trick. I got mine used so there was no sending it back...

You simply use sandpaper and/or a rasp followed by sandpaper to fix this.
..what do you expect from some kid working 16 hrs. a day in poor lighting and getting paid pennies per piece for the labor? This ain't no Weatherby!
..dab on some stain if the raw wood bothers you.
No stain? ..use a marker/sharpy!
Put a coat of wax on it and call her done.
5 minutes max, problem solved.

I'd use the dremel and sandpaper my self.

Thanks for the help, i used a brass washer superglued into place to re-space the stock. So far so good ............ps i also locktited the screws into place , they were backing out whilst shooting .

I had to do the same with mine because of some binding on one of the forend screws.
Hope this helps -
