Just got back from a week long hunting expedition, and in the process changed my barrel to .25 and chrony'd it.
Unfortunately I did not take a coyote, two days into the trip my safety malfunctioned, causing the gun to fire, but fortunately I was on our range with nobody near me.
I tested three pellets, 5 shot strings. H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme 28.4 grains, H&N Baracuda 31.02 Grains, Eun Jin 35.8 Grains
3000 psi fill pressure, did all 15 shots at once, no refills. shot in order as shown bellow, stock condor.
Eun Jin 35.8 Grains 955 fps average 72 ft/lb average
Baracuda 31.02 Grains 1035 fps average 74 ft/lb average
hunter extreme 28.4 grains 1055 fps average 70 ft/lb average
I did not check the kinetic energy when we were up north, but i see that the baracudas are higher then the eun jins. Is this because the pressure was likely at the peak of the bell curve? Or has somebody else seen similar results?

nice string for a stock rifle. as far as the " safety " lose it. you have no idea how many people have had the same problem. every one of them, myself included, have taken out the safety and uncock the gun until we are ready to shoot. it's the only sure way to fix the problem.

Very nice ! ;)
I just ordered my Prochrono and usb interface with their software.
I'm hoping to get some descent numbers on my Condor .25 as well !
-
nice numbers, how was the accuracy ? 74 fpe is very nice

accuracy wasn't to bad with the regular barracudas, we were hitting some old clay pigeons at 84 yards, the hunter extreme ones weren't so good though, the it seemed to be more accurate with the .22 barrel, but I need to try out different pellets in .25 to be conclusive.
Also, the .22 barrel would eat up anything I threw at it, didn't have accuracy issues with any pellets, .25 seems to be more picky.

The safety issue is kind of scary though, thanks for the heads up and glad to hear you got away with it.I heard about the safety being faulty .My .25 shoots 43 Eun jins and predator dime size at 25 yards but the 35 Eun jins is a complete disaster. Also I noticed on my .22 (filled at 3000psi) that the first 10 shoots with 32 Eun jins are weird and doesnt sound right,i thought it was the shroud at first but after talking to dirty harry he told me about some condors having valve lock and recommended lower fill as well as 43 eun jins ,32 eujin and predator for both condors,he called them :"the magic pellets"!jsb kings are awesome from what i heard.I only fill the .22 to 2900 psi but the .25 is fine from 3000psi.

My .25 loves JSB Exact Kings 25gr and the heavier 31gr Baracauda, plus the EunJin 35 and 43gr. Your right on the Baracauda hunter extreme, :-\ the skirt is to small in diameter to fit in my bore right.
Four tins of 350 JSB's one being free for a total of 1400 pellets at a cost of 47.97 plus shipping, always sounds good to me! :D

give the benjamin domes a try next time you order. pick one up as your 4th free tin. they work great out of my condor and they never seem to be out of stock like the jsb's always are.

funny you said that, I read last night two post somewhere say they worked well too.
Thanks for the heads up!

That's pretty decent avg. power for a stock Condor (I presume?).
Do you know if your Condor has a stiffer hammer spring? The safety malfunctioning is typical when using a heavier spring. Was the gun used or new?

Used gun, brand new tank since the other one was lost, It could have a stiffer spring but i dont believe so since it has a good shot count per fill. I'm still debating whether to remove the safety or send it back.
