We've added a map of known fill stations to crosman.com and want your help! Please take a few seconds to add your local favorite spot(s) for filling your tanks to help make this a great resource for everyone:
http://www.crosman.com/university/pcp-fill-stations (http://www.crosman.com/university/pcp-fill-stations)
For every station you add, your name goes into the hat for a Benjamin Marauder Pistol! Drawing will be December 14 so the winner will have something extra under the tree. We'll be confirming each submission, please make sure they are legitimate.
TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE ENTERED, PUT YOUR NAME,EMAIL IN THE "SUBMITTED BY" FIELD.
Thanks!

Good job Chip! Thanks :D

Hey Chip. Thanks for the link. Btw I saw you on that hunting show recently where you got that instant kill on the deer with the .357. Good show, and good shot.

I just submitted my local fill shop. Thanks for the contest!

Chip,
I submitted my local dive shop. That map and info will be quite a resource when everybody adds their shops list.
Thanks for offering a P-rod for a drawing as incentive.

The most effective way to find local High Pressure Tank fillers is to Search from the Google Maps window once the Map has been taylored to the area your willing to travel to. Using the Terms HPA Hydrotesters will bring up the local testers for tanks which are the go to guys to get stuff certified and safety checked, cleaned, rebuilt and Catostrophic tests if they are set-up for that.
My experience is these are the guys that are madated by the DOT to do everything by the book and protect the public from vessels that are expired or should be retired. They are a great resouce for SCUBA/SCBA valve parts and service as well as the cleanest air you'll find. Often they will also have used vessels with fresh Hydros to sell.
It isn't a bad thing when someone comndemns a Vessel. If it is showing signs of failure these guys have the tools to make sure it will get a hole driled in it rather than it be put back in service. It would be appropriate to show these guys all your high pressure stuff so they can see if you are doing anything scary. They can smell it a block away, as they have seen it all.
When it comes to High Pressure you cannot be too careful. Every county Fire and City Fire departmants need their SCBA vessels checked every 3-5 years and the Hydrotesters do that service and cannot be too far apart to kkeep the firefighters and EMT/Hazmat Tanks in service. Whenever someone tells me there is NO AIR in my county I always ask them if they have a Fire Department. If the answer is yes there is a Hydro Tester in them woods. You just need to use the search function to find them. Google will even set up a specific search engine for that application and you could have that resource as a Click and Go as well.
Good On Crosman coming up with this sort of thing. Could even become a I phone and Android APP in a perfect world.

Great Idea there Chip/Crosman. We can set up a link in the GTA PCP Gate with this map. Will be a great source for new and existing PCP hobbiests to find a local fill station. After all we promote safety and these fill stations as Tim mentioned would be safe and sound.
Thanks

EXCELLENT idea Chip, and thanks for this info. I wish I could add our Fire & Rescue Division as a fill station but we have decided to close that branch. The disposition of the HyPres fill equipment is still up in the air (no pun intended). If I or we wind up keeping it, I will list our location.
Thanks again.
SAFE & Happy Shooting!!!!

I added a station but never got an e-mail about it :-\
-
So, when's the drawing?
-
Who was it that added this to the map ??? (on 12/12/12)
Pacific Wilderness
360 South Tustin Street
orange, 92866
(714) 997-5506
4500
If you are local to there,... we are neighbors !
apparently they have just recently upgraded their compressor.
6 weeks ago, they told me they did not do 4500psi.
Next door to them is Fowlers Gun Room.
One of the employee's at Fowlers, is named Warren.
He speaks with an British accent. He's a real Good Guy.
(No,... it's not me), He's just a fellow airgunner, and was excited when I told him I had a 50yd range just a few blocks away.
I've got to get back over to see him, and invite him over.

I wonder what lucky sumbish won the drawing.

Yes who is the winner? Crosman tell us! I did not get my e-mail yet from you. So please go ahead and e-mail me my winning info so I can send my address for my new awesome Marauder pistol! Sure would be a great Christmas gift!
