I finally invested in a chrony and took the following numbers from my Crosman nitros. 10 shot strings.
Nitro Venom Dusk .177 - H&N Baracuda Match 10.65 grain
Hi: 810.4
Low: 793.7
Average: 803.1
Extreme Spread: 16.6
Standard Deviation: 5.09
Foot Pounds Energy: 15.25
Benjamin Titan .22 - H&N Field Target Trophy 14.66 grain
Hi: 716
Low: 703.9
Average: 711
Extreme Spread: 12.29
Standard Deviation: 4.69
Foot Pounds Energy: 16.46
Nitro Venom Dusk - JSB Match 8.44 grain
Hi: 853.6
Low: 821.9
Average: 837.1
Extreme Spread: 31.7
Standard Deviation: 11.04
Foot Pounds Energy: 13.3
The H&N pellets are more consistent with a lower extreme spread and shoot better out of the Dusk. The Titan is also very consistent. Both are quite accurate out past 50 yards. Both guns were lube tuned with a moly and PFTE.

Thx for posting. I had similiar results to your Venom .177 with my Vantage NP .177 with the baracuda match (10 shot string):
Hi: 794, Lo: 784, Ave: 789, Max Spread: 10, Std Dev: 3.5, FPE: 14.7
The H&N Field Target 8.49g shot well too:
Hi: 904, Lo: 895, Ave: 901, Max Spread: 9, Std Dev: 3.39, FPE: 15.3
What head size are you using in the Baracuda? I'm using the 4.5mm, but wondering if there is anything to gain with the 4.51 - 4.53mm sizes. My maruader really likes the larger head size, but haven't seen many comments of using it in a crosman np.

The Baracudas I'm shooting are 4.5mm but I purchased the same pellets in 4.51, 4.52 and 4.53 head sizes. I've tried them all and the 4.50 was easily the best from an accuracy standpoint.
The standard deviation on your Vantage NP is excellent! It should be VERY accurate if you've found the right pellet.

Thanks for the feedback on the larger heads. You saved me from adding to my pellet collection. ;)
It is shooting well on my indoor range, but want to get some more data at 25-40yds. With the time change and cold, windy weather, haven't been able to do so yet. I had a travelling barrel pivot screw, and learning springer hold (ongoing) issues before ;)

Nice! I had similar results to your Benjamin Titan .22 with my Benjamin Titan GP .22 with the same pellet... pretty good pellets.
