I did a complete tear down and rebuild of my Benjamin pump yesterday. This is the second time for that...including polishing the tubes to smooth out the corrosion. Fortunately I have enough orings on hand for another 49 rebuilds. A couple more packs of the 2 that are duplicates and I'll knock that up to 99 rebuilds. Sounds exhausting especially with my increasing inventory of air hogs.
On the other hand I ordered a shoebox compressor and the requisite hose from Joe Brancato. The shoebox has already shipped! Joe said that hose and adapter will go out tomorrow. I should be making my own HPA without actually pumping. Joe was a great guy to deal with and wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. Even emailed me an invoice to simplify payment. When it comes to hoses, adapters, and fittings I will not be shopping around anymore. I'll just call Joe.
Now I will be able to use those 10 SCBA cylinders I have laying around. 8)

Shoebox ... nice job !!

You will love the Shoebox. I had a fairly early one and stupidly sold it. 1 month later I bought a new one. Be prepared for a sudden increase in pellet volume and stock up.
-
Yes, that is the next purchase. I only have about 2000 pellets right now. I can easily see them going quickly. At least they get recycled into bullets for the big bore.
This will also help a lot with working on airguns. The biggest thing that has kept me for doing simpler work on them is the idea of having to pump them back up.

I may still yet get a shoebox but right now at $6 for a fill I will use the dive shop.

Congrats on the Shoebox. I hope to one day have one. Joe is the man when it comes to hooking up your gear. Have fun!

Received the SCBA adapter and hose from Joe today. Nice piece of kit and it got here quick from California. 2 days quicker than the compressor coming from Arizona. Looking forward to the compressor being delivered tomorrow and getting to make my own HPA.

Definitely worth the expense.
This little fella works steady and quick.
