I'm planning on making making a disco carbine out of a 2240. Here is the basic plan:

I just looked at the disco double. Would this disco double kit work with the disco carbine?

I converted my 2400KT carbine to HPA using Disco parts, in hopes of later adding a double tube. You can see my results in this gate, search my name or CCS 2400KT HPA conversion.
I could not view the link you included, but my guess is, if you are using dig Disco parts, then a double tube kit should work.

Here is some info on my Disco Double Tube .25 16" LW barrel Carbine that would not have been possible without the Double Tube Kit http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php/topic,32379.msg300742.html#msg300742 (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php/topic,32379.msg300742.html#msg300742)
I am now getting 16 good shots with 50.3 FPE and all shots are within a 3% spread, which is outstanding

I have a .2260 PCP Carbine which gets 16 shots at 20 FPE on a 2260 tube.... Lloyd should be able to supply a Double Tube Kit for something like that to give you about twice the number of shots.... In fact, perhaps the PRod Double Kit coming out soon can be adapted, as the PRod tube is the same length as the 2260 tube....
or just make a PRod Double Carbine....

I'm with rstearne on the suggested prod double carbine. Can't wait to see who's first to do that one.

Hmmm I may have to take it out of the box and test it out before I ship out to Darrell to have it Cerekoted.
OK I'm talking my about my PRod DT that I just got from Lloyd and all I can say it is a beauty, but I have not shot it.
I had added a Jim Gaska's shroud extension to quiet it down as it was louder than I like. Doing so changed the aesthetics of the PRod and I did not like it so I had Lloyd make a air tube extension to match the shroud extension and now it looks much better. I was going to wait to post pictures once the Cerekote was complete but maybe I will some some before pictures and shot strings

You should always test before finishing in case it needs more work. No need to finish it twice. Hint hint nudge nudge...

ive got a 2400kt carbine converted to pcp using disco parts and some serious internal mods to the valve and a few other things... 16in disco tube gets me 3 shots at 42fpe in 22cal, will be doing a double tube for it in the next month or 2
my carbine and norms are kind of like siblings, built at the same time by the same person

Really?.... At least 10 shots at that power level would be more like it from a stock length Disco tube.... or are you talking overall tube length, not reservoir length?....

ya over all length, sorry..

OK so I got talked into some pictures and info on my new PRod Double Tube:
I just got my PRod back from Airgun Lab and I now have a PRod Double Tube and all I can say is WOW.
I'm still playing with it but my last couple of strings are showing some real promises. The last string using H&H FTT 14.66 pellets gave me a low of 724.63 FPS a High of 751.47 FPS and averaged out at 742.47 FPS, extreme deviation was 26.85 FPS and the average deviation was 6.70 FPS. The FPE came out to be 17.82 FPE and this was for 40 shots with a fill of 3000 PSI and ending at 2100 PSI which is a average of 22.50 PSI per shot and all shots were within a 3% range. I need to calculate the efficiency but I know it will be very good. I also know I can increase the FPS and FPE if I want but I think I am pretty happy where it is right now.
I just took it all apart and shipped it out to be Darrell to be Cerakoted.
