Since I got a new Hill Pump I thought I'd fill the Disco to 2000psi and do some shooting. Understand, the original gauge on the disco is a reference gauge with 1000psi to 2000psi and no real increments in between so my numbers are a guesstimate...each shot is approximately 10psi in my gun. The first 30 shots were low on target with not much power. At approximately 1700psi the shots were hitting dead center in a 1/2" circle w/18.1gr Jsb's@35yds. 10 shots per target of which I did 3 for 30 shots and stopped at 1400psi (guesstimated). I stopped because the sun was hitting me in the eyes making it hard to get a sight picture and was blacking out my scope. I have a chrony but haven't had the time to use it yet but am definitely going to make time for it because now I'm real curious about my starting and ending fill pressures. There is no reason for me to pump up to 2000psi only to have 30 shots wasted on target or game. With double air capacity due to the additional air tube I foresee 55-60 usable shots, hopefully the chrony will confirm my hunch.
I'm not going to modify this Disco for more power through the valve as it takes pests and small game just fine but I'm definitely going to invest in a gauge that can give me some real numbers rather than reference colors.
On a side note; I don't have anything to do with the Double Tube Disco other than being a customer and satisfied owner but wanted to say that if anyone is sitting on the fence wondering whether this is a worthwhile modification I would ask you, "Would you like to double your shot capacity, fill less often and own a unique looking air rifle?" The Discovery is an awesome platform. Thanks to Lloyd and Norm, our very own visionary's, who've made an awesome gun even more awesome with choices in stocks, breaches, double tubes and other airgun related accessories. Sorry if this comes off as a shameless plug but again, I have no affiliation with DiscosRus or Airgunlab other than being a customer.

Yep that sounds about right. On my single tube disco the sweet spot is 1.2k psi - 1.8k psi where the pellets stay on bullseye and fps stays in the mid 800 range with 14gr pellets. That lasts me 2 mags at near full power with a heavy spring, and it takes me 30 pumps to fill back to 1.8k psi with the benj pump.
