Title: Thought I would share pics of my FWB Model 65 built in Aug 1968.

My dad purchased this new in Aug 1968 in Germany were he was posted

When I got it it was broken unfortunately... Had been cocked for over 2 years before I got it. The reason I know is my dad had passed then.  I got brave beginning of this year and took it apart, got the parts (locking bar, spring, all seals and bumper etc). Turned out the original piston seal was still good (Iron ring) so I replaced the broken locking bar/saftey and the breech seal....  It chronies @ 480 fps with R10 7.0 grains.

Here are the pics

What a beauty. Always thought they were some of the classiest pistols ever made.

Thanks for all the nice comments.  It is a joy to shoot and does make me feel close to my late father every time I shoot it.
