For What It's Worth
Cabela's Has a bunch of their re-branded air rifles (+pistols) and a few other air rifles on sale at a pretty steep discount. They also have a $20 rebate over $120.
Are all cabela's brand air rifles made by Gamo?
Anybody see anything that's "I gotta buy that"
Thanks,
Stew

The Cabela's Outfitter series look like rebranded Benjamins (the Chinese line), which would generally be pretty decent quality. One of them looks like the Super Streak, another probably the Legacy?

Those are decent guns so shop price against the Benji line. Cabela's sure are big on promoting the alloy pellets at a "blistering" 1500 fps.

that .22 on the bottom of there page looks good! if its a benji knock off do you think the tuna trigger would work?
-
curious about trigger and models these are equivalent to. thanks.
edit -add - just read about the GRT4G ProtoType Trigger, nice! No worries if plastic.
;D

Well my cabella outfitter came yesterday. it looks as if it might have been a return. The are a few dings on the bottom of the stock, the scope was just sitting in the box and the box had a nice ding in it. I contacted crosman and yes the outfitter has the same power plant as the quest, phantom, b18.
It is pretty, nice nickel plated barrel with a black choke. I mounted the scope and have not had to adjust it yet (which leads me to think it was a return). The scope is a centerpoint and seems kinda nice, but at 9x the perimeter is distorted.
Well it shoots so now I'll end up taking the d**m thing apart and tune it.
For $145 OTD I kinda like it.
The $20 rebate ends today
Oh, it does have a stamped steel trigger
