Glad to see a company introducing a new high powered pump airfifle. I like 4.4lbs, I like synthetic. Just make it in .22&.25 please. IMO
-
.22 or .25 caliber in this rifle would be fantastic. I was looking at these last week and thinking the exact same thing.
-
Looks like I have found my Christmas gift.

Model #: WEB-Rebel177
(http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/Webley/WEB-Rebel.png)
Where exactly is the safety? Whats that thing behind the loading port and whats that round thing by the trigger, on the trigger guard?
This looks like someone took a 13xx, 39x and a daisy 901 and said; hmmm how can we combine these?

Front sight is a fusion of the 13xx & 901.
Scope-able behind the barrel like the 901.
Pump arm similar to the 39x & 901.
Rear stock similar to a 39x.
Then again at first glance it almost looks like a PCP til ya notice the pump arm.

I'd say it's a step n the right direction! But, I agree, we need it in .22 or .25!
-
Its good to see another pumper on the market. I don't shoot mine much, but I do agree, one in the larger calibers would be able to produce some pretty good power.
-
You guys are bad you showing me that pumper like that and now I'm thinking of getting one even thou it's 177.Still that blazing speed for a pump gun.Not a bad price for a super pumper.
-
Brother, you and me both. If that's really a 900 fps/ 14 fpe gun with a 7.9 grain pellet, I would bet that it's at least a 17 fpe air rifle with something like a 16 grain eunjin pellet. I really hope to see a .22 version.
-
I wonder if that is a soda straw barrel as in my Asian made Puma Sharp, it has the same receiver and shoots at 900 plus. Regards, Tom
-
Heck, I'll still take one in .177. This one has piqued my interest, above every other air rifle I have been looking at. The weight is right, and the price is right- if the power is as advertised then it will make the perfect hunter and truck gun
-
Shoot heavy .177 thru this one, it might be a 17 ft lb gun with .177.
Can you imagine the "flat" trajectory?
Interesting looking gun, looks like the puma/innova sharp clones.
God bless,
Farmer

Guys, I don't wait ...when I want to know something I pick up the phone & call. SO I did...
Spoke with W&S in Nevada this morning.....new web site coming up in a few days...you can order direct $129.00. A safer bet than dealing with AOA.
If not already known, These pumpers are made in China. Still an interesting an offering.
Current web site: Rebel Not listed yet.. http://www.webleyandscott.com/content/Home.index/4371.0.1.1 (http://www.webleyandscott.com/content/Home.index/4371.0.1.1)

Did you by chance inquire about other calibers?

.177 for now...as for anything else , I'm waiting to hear back from Derek @ W&S.

Nice to see some new blood, especially a pumper. Wonder what the trigger's like?

The new Webley and Scott site is up and running. Much much nicer than the old website.
Saw the rebel and I thought it was a value line PCP at first too with that air tube under the barrel. Raider PCP is on sale for 399 right now, thats about 150 off what I last saw them go for.

I ordered one from AOA. UPS tracker shows it in Alabama, I should get it on Tuesday. I will let you know how it is with pics.

Please do - am very interested in this gun.
-
anyone know what the breach is made of?
-
Seems like a cool gun for the money, that is if it delivers. Wonder if it will be a good platform for modding like some of the other pumpers out there. Look forward to hearing what folks have to say about it.
-
Breech is made of composite material similar to the stock. Will start a review tomorrow initial reaction is mixed.

Just checked the website http://www.webleyandscott.com/shop/proddetail-airguns.php?prod=WRREB22FAC (http://www.webleyandscott.com/shop/proddetail-airguns.php?prod=WRREB22FAC) and they list the Rebel in 22 cal. also for $129.99.
-
Great pics and details on the review. Those fps spread look pretty good, now I'll have to chrony my kids Crosman 760 to see how it compares (although a few hundred fps slower) :-\
thanks
