Ordered some in .177 and .22 from PA and they arrived today. Upon initial inspection, they sure are good looking pellets. Very clean lines and uniform appearance.
Spotted a starling in my backyard. Darn things have been chasing the cardinals away. Grabbed a .177 pellet and my old Daisy 856. One shot with open sights. Right through the head at 25 yards. Probably just a lucky shot, but talk about a good first impression.

They're more expensive than most pellets, but they're arguably the best retail pellet out there, although it's still best to find the best performing for your individual airgun.
Both my .177 and .22 Gamo CFX perform best with Exacts, since H&N discontinued their Silhouette pellets in .177.

Yep. JSB best pellet I ever used, you can't go wrong with 'em.
Sam ;D

If you liked those, you may be happy with their Exact "RS" line of pellets. They are lighter (7.3) and the same head size. Gives you more speed out of your 856.

Nope.
Not arguable.
THEY ARE THE BEST.
I'm starting to judge guns by this pellet, if a gun doesn't shoot them well I'll pass on it and get a gun that shoots them well. ;D

Only complaint I have is with the lighter ones, the skirts are thin and fragile and every tin I recieve has 30%-40% damaged skirts. can't take the rough handling from shipping. wish I could buy them local and do away with UPS, USPS, Fed-ex

Those bent skirts can be fixed with the right tool. You can use a pellet-seater or some other creative tool that works for you.

+1 for the Jsb's
They are my favorite pellet. From everything I have seen, more air guns shoot them accurately than any other brand. I think they should be among the first somebody tries after picking up a new gun and is trying to figure out what pellet it likes best.

Ok, I'll go against the conventional wisdom. Most experienced airgunners won't doubt that JSB makes quality pellets but that doesn't mean they're the best. The best pellet is the most accurate pellet in your gun. For many, that's JSB.
My own pellet testing has shown that H&N Field Target Trophy's are the most accurate in my Venom Dusk in .177 and Benjamin Titan in .22. My Crosman Quest loved JSB 8.4 grain in .177. Once I bought the Dusk and started shooting the same .177 JSB pellets I was dismayed that my groups were horrible. My first thought is that the Venom was junk. Only after a lot of testing at the range did I see that the Venom was fine, I just had the wrong pellets.
Look no further then Edgun USA's latest youtube video on spiraling pellets. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8z8aFP2TVyA&feature=g-u-u# (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8z8aFP2TVyA&feature=g-u-u#)
The only way to know for sure what works best for you is to test a variety of pellets in a controlled way that allows you to measure group sizes over several distances. Most quality pellets will group well at 30 feet. The story changes once you're shooting at 50, 75 and 100 yards.

I bend them when they're in the bore, ready to shoot.

I ordered some exacts 8.something grain and jsb heavies. I know people say to shoot heavy pellets in the npxl 1500 but i cracked open the 8grainers and they are outstanding. jsb is a good company who makes a awesome pellet. when you experiment with something new as you have and have positive results, then the sky is the limit. let me know how else it turns out.

The 8.44gr are a good pellet for many springers, heavy is over 10gr so you shouldnt have any worries with them in your npxl :)
8.44gr is the standard .177 Exact, 10.34gr is the heavy and then there is the 13.4gr monsters.

I really like the JSB's but I have had good luck with the RWS pellets which I think are as good quality as the JSB's.
