Sorry, no pics.
Voles have started to devastate my wife's flower garden, so she decided to take action. She got a mouse trap and baited it with peanut butter and put it right by a vole hole. The next morning, a vole, still kicking, was trapped in the mouse trap. She didn't want it to suffer, just to DIE, so she got a shovel. Using the back of the shovel, she whacked the vole as hard as she could. The guts popped out of the middle abdomen, but it died quickly. She then went to the store and bought 14 more mouse traps. Yep, we have 15 mouse traps scattered throughout the flower garden. We did cover them with 3 gallon or 5 gallon buckets to keep other critters away.

I have been trying my durndest to talk her into a prod with a shoulder stock. She can shoot. She has shot competitive pistol in the NRA National Championships at Camp Perry, Ohio. She would be deadly on the pests, but she would rather let me do that.

My wife hunt's with me due to my recent health issues but on the plus side it's brought use closer together and she's a heck of a shot taken her first Bandit awhile back. Ed

great story and it's awsome to have the better half involved. I think I might be getting mine involved if the birds keep dumping on the car after SHE washes it lol. She's beginning to become very irritated with them!!!!
