Nice work Manny!
-
you really do hate those raised cheek pieces don't you???? lol looks nice though? are you going to apply stain? or is that it? looks really good.
-
Raised Cheek pieces most of the time are just unnecesary extra wood, and if done properly are a beautifull feature, but when not done properly are an eyesore ;)
The stock is done, the wood wasn't sanding good enought to risk staining, so I just finished it with TRU OIL ,,it will darken nicely with time ;D

Looking good Manny. Giving me the urge to do something with mine. :o
Happy Shooting!!!!

really does look much better than the stock finish. I saw on a few times and that high gloss finish makes it look like its made of plastic lol...

I dont care for thumb hole stocks but you are right about some modles having to high of a comb. The B-26-2 was the one I hated..:) the most and immediatly replaced the stock with a standar sporter stock.. The new Crosman NPSS and NT series thumbhole stocks have to low a comb for me..:) I have to use a pad on top the comb to find my sweet spot, but also the scope and mounts have allot to do with that as well. I guess I am picky but I like picky...:)

Again Manny you have done a great job, I like the way you remove the cheek piece an keep the comb in place, you got a good eye for wood working for sure.
