Sportsmans Guide. Some of these were Turkish made Hatsan branded for Winchester. Some are/were made in China. Not sure which one these are.

does anyone own one of these? really looks like a steal of a bargain to me. how do they perform I wonder? I'd like to know. for that price I'd buy one right now if they perform well.

I have a Turkish made 1000 and it's a real power house and deadly accurate.  Liked it so much I went and bought the wooden stocked version which is just as powerful and just as accurate.  Those 2 rifles are without a doubt the most powerful .177 springers in my entire collection.  That being said I also have to say that in stock form they are a bit "rough".  Both of my guns cock smoothly but the firing cycle is a bit rough and the triggers are definitely "stiff".  Both my rifles are still completely stock.  My triggers got much better with use and as for the firing cycles it doesn't bother me a bit.  Both my rifles are amazingly powerful and will shoot dime sized groups all day.  Either one of those rifles is usually my first choice when it comes to choosing a .177 springer for use on squirrels.  Not trying to coax you into buying one, but you asked if anyone had one.  :)

I'm seriously thinkin about it now, I'd probly send it in for tuning to smooth it out, heck if the rifle is only 60 bucks why not lol

winchester 850 has the quattro and sas

that's interesting....
Wincheaster may be having Hatsan re-brand there better guns for them now...
Hatsan make 3 levels of there product...
There basic line...that has been sold as Walther/Wincheaster/Daisy
in the US...until now?
Hatsan with the Quattro trig/SAS system...better QC
Webley line...
Unfortunately most of the opinions in the US of Hatsan products are based
on there budget/built to a prise range of guns..Walther/Wincheaster/Daisy...
Personally I would take a Quattro/SAS Hatsan over a Gamo any day...
Hatsan moved from there standard trigger to the Quattro &
Gamo moved to the plastic thing they are now peddling...

the 850 is closest to the Hatsan 60S with a Mod 95 stock. also noticed the walther's on PA webpage show the Quattro and SAS on the rifles.

look at the hatsan stryker, they make a better gamo than the real Gamo lol
