Yeah, fedex came, and it was like christmas as a kid the anticipation.
And not only is my pistol here, but my back ordered pellets and misc. shown up as well. Double great.

Here she is and she's SEXY....ahh what to name her.

And for a guy who has only handled a .177 and thought a .20 pellet was big....Holy &^^&!! .22's are huge.

Already cleaned the barrel, and fired a couple shots and oh my goodness does this thing have some gusto.
Awesome, thanks again to the fine fella's here who suggested this pistol. I am one happy camper.
Now wheres them dang ol' chippers?

Congrats on your new pistol! I've had excellent results using those JSB pellets. Have fun, RC

Congrats, that is a sweet pistol and a bargain to boot!

The cphp's are a really tight fit on mine. The Jsb's fit just right. I am shooting the tight fitting cphp's till the diesling stops. Still diesling after over 100 rounds. Just now starting to ease up on the smoking and shot cycle. Hope it quits soon so I can get some chrony results. No problems with recoil or accuracy so far. Hope Joao at American Arms shows an interest in this product and uses his contacts to make a carbine stock available.

The .177 JSB's I got in were for the NP XL. They were from backorder.
For the hatsan its just the CPHP for now.
After barrel cleaning and firing 5 rounds thru it I figured might as well shoot it thru the chrony to see what Im getting.
Took it out 10 yards, standing position, offhand. Ten rounds shot with chrony at target, then ten rounds with chrony in front of me on tripod. Heres results. I know still new, but figured why not do it to see.

You can see I settled in a little bit on the second go, but my first shot was same for each low and right. Gotta pay better attention to finger placement on trigger for first shot.

That's a nice spread considering it's still diesling. Not fond of pistols, but those SC's seem to be nice little shooters.
-
That's very good for a brand new gun. RC
-
Congrats on your new pistol.

The specs say this pistol is shooting lead pellets at 600 fps. It's got to have a pretty stiff spring, how hard is it to cock?
-
Thanks guys, and Rico considering I dont have a lot of variety to compare to. I would say the first 10 or so cocks seemed to be pretty stiff. It is slowly getting a little better. But even with the barrel extender (cocking assist) on, its still stiff, but I would think an average 12-13 year old could do it.

I'm sure it will get easier the more you use the pistol.

Rock on. Great gun!
... interesting chrony results. They are quite different than mine.

Nice pistol! I'll be watching how these Hatsan pistols perform for you guys.
