visited the local sports store, and saw the new to me Benjamin np had a %20 off coupon they agreed to honor and left with a new toy:). surprised by the power. Also have a BSA Super Sport.22 the darling of the old Air Gun Letter forum. it is a nice rifle, but @16/ft/lbs, a lot less powerful. so far impressed by the fit and finish and features. love the scope rail. scope looks nice bright and clear, but, wonder on the long term life of the scope. so far after a few hundred pellets no problem, will see how it holds up after a few tins. my old Bushnell air gun scope died on my super sport. have a nice trophy scope to use if needed. even adjusted as light as I can the trigger pull is not up to the other springers I own, a tx200 and a R-9, RWS350, RWS 52, I understand after market triggers will address this. didn't expect a match trigger in this price range. have high hopes for accuracy. much quieter then my old 392.22 looks like a keeper so far very pleased with the price performance ratio, will factor in the $30 trigger, and be even happier I think.

Awesome!!! Not sure about the NP trigger but my TitanGP trigger was a bit rough. Oddly, I could still shoot it adequately well, but the charliedatuna replacement is economical and easy so I figured what the heck.

The Trail NP AW is a great gun. I love mine, but it did need some attention when new. Now it is a very easy gun to shoot. Enjoy it and if it starts to act up, just let us know and we can help you bring it back to life.
Oh, welcome to the nut house :D

Welcome to the GTA. I have the NP AW. It is a VERY nice addition to any collection. The black synthetic thumbhole stock Is very sharp, and easy on the eyes. In fact, When it came down to it, I could have bought an XL instead, but the NP AW stock is what I really wanted, and the XL didn't come in an AW stock version, so I opted to save the XL purchase for down the road. My scope has held up on mine "so to say", I have had suspicions of it not being a very good and durable scope at times....but after about 4k - 5k pellets though mine, I have had no problem getting into a nickle at 30-40 yds lately. I actually shot a 1" group OFFHAND last night at 35 yds with crosman pointed hunting pellets. I do think that sooner than later I am going to be sending mine in to "SHADOW" for a tune, and I am wanting to mount a better scope as well. So far the NP Trail AW has been a very nice shooter for me though. I hope yours is too. Again, Welcome to the forum. We are glad to have ya!
