Got a break from school this weekend and decided to head home to Chicago. Wanted to sight the disco in as light was fading so I went out back and began to shoot. I had noticed a chipper running about the rose bed so I vacated my shooting bench to let him roam a bit. After watching him run through the bed a few times he decided to head for the bushes by garden. I planted myself in the yard about 12 yards away and waited for him to pop out of the bushes. He popped out right where I expected and I put the cross-hairs on him and sent the Crosman pointed pellet right into his cheek. He fell into the bushes and began his death dance. I fished him out and as I was snapping some pics I heard a rustling over towards the small shed in the corner of the yard. I looked over and there is a fairly large bushy tailed beast just sitting over by the shed about 10 yards away. Loaded another pellet and put the cross-hairs right on his eye. That's exactly where it hit as he simply keeled over and expired. Went to examine the kill and found out that his eye was gone and the other was popping out. It was a nice way to get the disco into action. Now to do some accuracy testing.

Now that's how to break a new rifle in. Good shooting.

Great 1st and 2nd blood for your Disco. That rabbit should make for good eating.

Outstanding and what a way to break her in, dropping critters. That bunny has some meat on him from what I see in the pic. Ed

Great shooting and great pics. Looks to me like you've already done your "accuracy testing" :)
Enjoy that bunny :)

Thanks guys. The rabbit was one of the largest I've seen in a long time. Saw him a lot over the summer but never got a shot at him. Glad I could finally take him down.
Jeff-it was sighted in for about ten yards so I gotta see what it can do at 25

It looks like you are off to a good start. Keep your eyes out for more of those same kind of targets farther out to sight in the new gun. :D
