The Power:
The First 10 Shots of the Gun's Life Using 14.3 gr Crosman Premier Hollow Points. There was lots of extra lube which finally burned off around 150 shots or so. This tape demonstrates dieseling at its finest.

By shot 160 over the chronograph, those CPHPs settled in nicely, and the pistol's engine was broken in. With an extreme spread of only 6.91 fps and a standard deviation of just 2 fps, this validates an exceptional break in. Energy 5 feet from the muzzle averaged 9.75 FPE.

By shot 180 over the chronograph, I introduced the JSB Polymag. Posting an extreme spread across ten shots of just 4.19 fps, and a standard deviation of a mere 1 fps, I was very satisfied the engine was broken in and sealed up. Energy five feet from the muzzle averaged 9.65 FPE.

I wanted to try to slow the rounds down and see how the gun handles the heaver pellets, so by shot 200 over the chronograph, I was slinging JSB Exact Heavies 18.13 gr. Once again the velocities stayed steady with a mere 9.13 fps extreme spread, and a standard deviation of just 2.44 fps. Energy five feet from the muzzle still averaged 9.60 FPE.

That is Flat out AWSOME !!!! a 10 FPE Brake barrel gun,..My Cup of tea :)
-
The Accuracy:
I tested 12 different pellets at 21 feet to the target, with my wrists rested on a bag. No part of the pistol itself was touching the rest. Each of these groups are 5 shots clusters. I tested with open sights, and with the UTG Red Dot. I tested after googone patches were pushed through the barrel (it took about 10 to clean it). And I tested again after a polished the bore with JB Bore Paste and a bronze brush, and polished the breech port with a rubberized dremel cone.

Lol, and 1/4" to 1/2" groups are abundant! Nutters beware.
-
Dude that pistol is BAD!
-
Dude that pistol is BAD news!
Yea, there is definitely a cool factor to it. But what makes it so dang fun to shoot are the 1/4" groups. I believe this thing could be accurate at distance too.
-
That is a cool looking gun.
I'm not a fan of Hatsan but would pick that up if I could.
The laws here (Canada) would classify that as a restricted weapon.
Only for range use, need permit to transport, all that fun stuff.
-
Anyone tried one of these things out past 20 yards, or with the lighter 12 & 13 gr pellets?
-
got mine today, without the chocking aid it sure is sore to cock this beast :)
I'll keep mine open sights and only shot a handfull of pellets but sure seems accurate, didn't realise it had an anti recoil system, sure makes that recoil almost nill
-
keep us posted. 8)
-
looks good!!! will be watching
-
Looks like my gun, shoots like my gun, same power as my gun,,, heh,,, that is my gun :) LOL
I've done quite a bit of shooting with mine at 30 yards and I can kill small tin cans with darn near every shot. I bought mine to keep me company in my tree stand during bow season so I can harvest nutters while I wait for bambi to walk by. I can't wait to take it hunting.... the pistol is just simply awesome.

Very quiet for the power it puts out, got the cocking aid on,..now that was better :) I was shooting golf balls sized hackysachs at 15-18 yards easily open sighted,...looking real good
-
Shot a few 5" groups at 50 yards and better than 1.5-2" at 30 yards off bags..
-
Wow! Now you guys have got me all excited about shooting this sucker long range!
-
... will have some lighter pellets arrive on Monday, along with the proper mount for the bsa scope. Will update again soon.

-
Beautiful. I'm gonna have to buy one after vacation's over.
-
Wow that is one hard hitting pistol!!! That would make a nice trail gun for the Sniper 125!! Do they make it in .25 cal??
-
Get one! They are so much fun.
I've only seen them in .22 and .177.
-
Where did you purchase yours? PA only shows the .177,which wouldn't be bad at all with a quoted 700 FPS.
Did it come with all those accessories pictured or was that a custom combo?
Imagine that in a custom mini sized wood stock!
-
I bought mine from AGD. It was just the gun I bought there. The rest I pieced together a la cart from Amazon and Pyramid. I like to give Scott at AGD my business because he has always had my back, and takes the time to support GTA members.
-
... I passed on the .177 because the fpe is is the 6-7 range whereas the .22 manages 9-10 fpe. It was a no nrainer for me. But for just plinking or paper punching the .177 may be the ticket.
-
I just ordered a .22 caliber Hatsan 25 from PA. There is a button you click to switch it to the .22 caliber.
-
I'm a lefty.. are the grips easily removed so I could install some homemade grips or even a stock type setup?
-
Steve, Manny, & others.....Steve, you said you were ordering the 'proper mount' and 'rings' for the Hatsan-25....I have a BSA 'Edge' 2 X 20 Scope...Looking at the photos previous in the thread, it looks like the Picatinny adapter is the same as a 'UTG" 'Tactical Rail-Adapter...Airgun/.22 - to Weaver/Picatinny' , which I have...and I wonder what Rings you ordered'....I just ordered the HATSAN-25 in .22 Cal. a few hours ago....
I also have a 'One-Piece' "AccuShot" RGPM2PA-25M2 2-Screw Clamp Mount, for 11mm rails (I have another installed on my RWS/Diana LP-8 holding a BSA
8 X 20 scope and it works fine..(but I'd wonder 'bout the recoil of the Hatsan-25) !
Can't wait 'fer my Hatsan-25 to arrive...(my 69-year old eyes definetely need
a Scope 'fer sure !

UTG rings. 1". The lowest profile model on the utg web page. 11mm base. They fit perfect with the BSA scope and clear the sights. Good luck! I'll try to get a picture posted tonight for you.

got this http://www.dealextreme.com/p/mystery-b01-0-08mw-650nm-red-laser-sight-kit-with-pistol-rifle-gun-mount-and-pressure-switch-19688 (http://www.dealextreme.com/p/mystery-b01-0-08mw-650nm-red-laser-sight-kit-with-pistol-rifle-gun-mount-and-pressure-switch-19688) the other day, mounted it with the cock aid on around front site, sit perfect and is under barrel, and can still use my sites, and or mount a scope, was so surprised at the quality of the mystery laser and all you get for $15 and change, free shipping, but it does take a long time to get here, works great and is metal, not plastic, holds its poi.and has a pressure switch and the button, battery included,i have bought a lot of stuff from this site, and it all is still in use, also this is where i bought the 11mm dovetail to weaver rail adapter for $6 ,laser is a bright one,and sense its under the barrel it does not hamper your use during the day,and i can see it out to 20yards in sun lite, just in case any of you other 25 addicts want a good laser..love the gun, very accurate and fun to shoot, ;D
-
That's a awesome gun.
-
I just got mine and am wondering about the hex screw I can see on the trigger. does this offer any adjustment in trigger function besides the other two screws?
-
First stage spring tension I believe.
-
Thanks for all the info on a nice pistol. RC
-
Sure :D
