Hello, my name is Matt and this is my first post on your forum. I joined GTA to learn a little about a recent acquisition. I believe this pistol to be older than a 1988 model so I am posting it in this forum, hopefully I'm right.
I was given a Healthways Plainsmaster .177 pistol from a friend. The pistol seems to be in very good condition. In fact, the sticker on the but of the gun is in perfect shape which leads me to believe it wasn't used very much. The only problem with the pistol is that it is missing the plug on the bottom of the but that holds the CO2 cartridge in. I have scoured the internet looking for parts but can't find anything specific to this air pistol. Do you have any suggestions where I can obtain a new part?
I will try to upload a couple of pics...

Welcome, shame the plug is missing,a doner pistol will be your only sourse of spares, many of these pistols were made and come up for sale quite often,I sold a .22 plainsman shorty couple of years back.

Finding a CO2 cap for that pistol will be difficult. Call or email the Plainsman Master, Doug Vorenkamp, at Accurate Airguns, LLC. He is the only repair shop I know of that fixes this particular model Healthways gun. Perhaps he has a cap or can find one for you.
