here is the best deal i've seen on a new regulator in a while. ;D good used ones are few and far between. it has gauges. just need appropriate tank connection and fill hose with bleeder.

what i ment was the fill stations, aslong as a tank as the current up to date hydro and visual im good, but the fill station on top. egh you dont if you buy it used if previous owner messed up some threads, spilled something on so the know you turn to control airflow is sticky, could be anynumber of things.

i would buy a full used setup from most of the people here on the gta because i know that they know how to take care of their stuff

if you have a tank all you need is a remote line.

not entirely true. maybe if it's a paintball gun. depends on your tank. if it's a 4500 psi tank you will need a regulator to get the pressure down to 2500/2800/3000 whatever your preference. if you have a 3000 psi tank then you could just connect it and shoot away. ;D it would  give you a lot more shots but won't have as good of consistency as pressure will continue to drop in the tank. the idea is to tether it to a 4500psi tank, use a reg to set pressure at say 2800. this way the pressure in your gun will stay consistent for some time. keeping pressure in the sweet spot and consistent should aid in accuracy. and shoot til the cows come home. ;D ;D

true but I assumed the op has a regged tank, for example I have a 48ci tank regged to 850psi all I needed after the tank is a remote line(one that is designed for hpa not c02).

I tether my FX Independence almost exclusively as I do most of my shooting from the bench. It is so much easier to shoot and shoot without having to worry about filling or charging the rifle.

I have a 88 cu ft CF 4500 psi tank that is regulated to my rifle's "sweet spot" of 150 BAR ( approx 2200 psi). I got my setup from airtanksforsale.com. The regulator was a bit expensive but they can be had for less.

The first picture is my setup and the second is the regulator setup from airtanksforsale.com.

I get literally thousands of shots from a not quite full fill of 4200 psi (Limitations at dive shop.) until the tank pressure drops to near 150 BAR.

Being able to sit and shoot for hours without having to refill is a real treat and keeps you from having to rebuild your shooting position every so many shots.

In one of the incarnations of this AR2078, it spent a lot of time tethered.  Either to a large (20 or 24oz) co2 tank in the summer or to a 48Ci HPA (850psi out put) tank in the winter.
