Title: HW50S 30 yds
Post by: BlueSteel50 on May 09, 2012, 10:09:59 PM
This was one of the better grps in my testing. Still in break in.(http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g218/mossbergman/Weihrauch%20HW50S/SilverBear30yds3.jpg)    Shows promise with the Beeman Silver Bears ~  they all can be covered easly with a dime .~~BS50

Good shootin'.
I'm looking hard at a HW50S.....torn between it and a 35.

It looks like you are dialing in that HW50.  That's a pretty nice group for that distance.  I'm sure once you've practiced a bit more and get the gun fully broken in, you'll get groups like that pretty regularly.  Thanks for sharing.  All of you showing off your HW50s remind me its the one of the few currently-made Weihrauch guns I'm missing.  ;D

Now if i can get enough time behind the gun to do that everytime, new gun new learning curve, had a terrible time this eve with the starlings they pretty much won . Had to do 35 -40 yd shots to the top of 60 ft trees in the wind. If i don't get them killed or scared off my car, truck, driveway ,patio, and house gets a free paint job. They want to roost in the tops of my Hemlocks and Firs. I finally whooped one trying to build the nest. Don't think that nest will be used , he's still  in it, I then quit while i was on the winning side . yea right..one out of 15 shots ...HA!!~~~BS50

It's still trying, found it don't care for the artilary hold so much, gotta gently firm hold her,not real tight to my sholder but  my grip @ the wrist  has to more like my std rifles  just a lite hold                                         (http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g218/mossbergman/Weihrauch%20HW50S/SBear25-30yds.jpg)                                                        today she danced pretty well for me the Starlings lost today 6/1 ,I wasn't the fool  ;)~~BS50
