That looks like a good alternative to shoot n c targets.

Very neat idea. I've over 10 CPHP pellet tin cans lying around....looks like I'll be using those for this interesting project.
Thanks horvath brother....and a big welcome to the GTA forum and family. Btw....you've excellent shooting skills.

Thanks for this. THis is a win!!!

Very cool thanks for showing . Like that the targets can made to look like I want. Hmmm that gives me some ideas. ;)
-
I've tried it already and it works thanks for the info! :P

Tested it out on a recycled square of cardboard using fluorescent pink covered by the tape, then by a flat black. Worked insanely well! I plan on adjusting the thickness of the black layer to increase the splatter effect. I also want to try using a square of contact paper in place of the tape. (couldn't find any at the time) The tape worked well, just think the contact paper would be a lot faster/easier to apply. Thanks so much for the how-to video! I always wanted to use the shoot-n-c targets but always changed my mind due to cost. I'd rather buy another tin of pellets for that price!

that's a cool idea. also you just gave me a big blond moment. i checked your channel and saw a video that said ( bomba hatsan ) and wondered when hatsan started making pumpers. oops! ha-ha! maybe it's the bud light?

Anyone try layers of different colors under the black? like a florescent red dot surrounded by florescent green.
Then it would be easy to grade a vitals hit. Like a squirrel target or other game.
I'll dig thru my daughters art supplies and give it a go.
Thanks for the instruction on this.

I'm going to have to try that now!
I made a couple of different ones to try them out/have a play, loving them so far! (never tried shoot n see targets or anything before, have never seen any in NZ)

My just about 8 year old son wanted to try duck shooting since he heard its duck season LOL

Latest test of dayglow orange duct tape is great. Cut in squares and circles then place on wax paper and paint with flat black.
When dry, peel and stick on target. Works best stuck on paper or cardboard. When place on old frying pan the "splat"
is about an inch in diameter.
I recommend it highly. Easier that paper- then tape- then paint- then mount the target. This way it's just peel and stick.

Nice idea w/ the tape, will try that next. Poor Shoot-n-c, this thread might put a hurt'n on their business :-X

Great stuff. Thanks.
