Title: New Girl in the Herum
Post by: Ray on April 25, 2012, 06:44:55 PM
Just came in today. She a big girl but,I think I can handle her.I clean the barrel.Put the scope on that came with it and Loctite tighten everthing. I'll use this scope for the break in period. Why not, paid for it right.Bi-pod alittle flimsy but ill use it seems sturdy enough when in the rest postion.Have not fired it yet, going to wait until the loctite sets up.

If it's like my Mod 95, you will want to drill out that threaded hole (about .060 larger) that accepts that small screw for the so-called "scope stop" piece of sheet metal and (ultimately) use a one pc mount with a scope stop pin, like a BKL or UTG with at least 4 screws, preferably 5 or 6 screws.

My 95 nearly sheared off that silly POS they call a scope stop! ::)

Mine did shear off. After two tins I'm lucky to get a 2" group today. Starting to get disappointed with Hatsan. This after a tune!

I have one as well, wont shoot mine until I tear it down, and go over it properly.

I love the looks and the design of the 125 sniper,  I hope  she  is good to  you.

Thanks Mike
Yes I do like the looks of it to. Its real sharp.I'm going to take it out an run a tin of pellets through it today, if my arm holds out long enough. No light weight that's for sure.I'm used to PCP and the gas rams now back to the twang of a springer. lol

Have fun Ray. Take two Advil  before you go. 2-3 hours in, your arm will be hating you.  Let us know how she does. But gun looks awesom!

Of course,it is a great looking gun,and hope it shoot's well for you! So far the workout cocking the barrel, hasn't worn me down, and I'm no big guy at 160 lbs,and 58 yr.s old!
But when I switch over to my Ruger .177 Air Hawk,I find I'm slamming the barrel closed way to hard, and who stole the spring out of it!!  ;D
