Today late FedEx delivered my Hatasan AT-44 W-10 .22
Waited impatiently all day for it to arrive.. Finally around 6:30 pm a knock on the door. Opened da door and grabbed electronic gadget out of the guys hand and scribbled my name. Grabbed da box and wasted no time opening it up. And there it was all wrapped and sealed in a plastic sleeve surrounded in foam . I ordered two addition mag clips but it all ready had two that come with it. Very nice of Hatsan to send two I think. Also a fill adaptor for bottle if you want to take it out of gun and fill. Had a very nice probe as well for filling while bottle stayed in gun. Along with these little morsels there was a bag full of o'rings. Some are for the filling prob, "spares" and others I assume are for the bottle and possible the probe. Again very nice of Hatsan to think about these littel hard to get morsels.
Fit and finish is excellent in my opinion. Matching most other Euro guns I have owned. The bluing is deep and rich and the walnut stock is very nice.
Although the stock is not high quality grained walnut but it is a very nice piece of wood which IMO beats beech wood stocks all to heck.. :) Personally I have owned some Euro PCP's. They have nothing on Hatsan and there metal work. The side lever works fantastic and is a very big Plus. I loved the side levers on my Air Arms and FX PCP's. Very ergonomic and not as clumsy as a bolt action.
To sum up my first impression the Hatsan AT-44 W - 10 is more gun than I expected. Rich with features and looks. Now I can't wait to sling some lead tomorrow so I can see some groups and possibly some numbers. Although Ezman604 has already Post's a fantastic review on the Hatsan AT 44 -10 W I will see how I fair on the bench and in front of the chrony.. :)

Beautiful gun and a great buy at their price-point. I'm looking forward to your review to see if it will be put on the short list! DEZ already penciled it in but your review may just make it permanent.
Anticipating . . . . !!

Welcome to the fold. These are really nice rifles.
Also a fill adaptor for bottle if you want to take it out of gun and fill.
That adapter (seen in AT44-4 above) is to release the air from the tube. Be careful, make sure to back the setscrew out before you thread it on to the tube for degassing. Otherwise you will get a nasty surprise. Once threaded on to the tube, you then turn the setscrew in slowly to vent the air.

Sweet looking rifle you have there. Hope it shoots as well as it looks. I will see it at the Fun Shoot!
