I have one thats a real butt kicker, 700 fps with lighter pellets, it does need alot of fuel to get up to that speed....

CO2 actually is a good fuel for launching heavy things at medium velocities.... I know of .35 cal (9mm) CO2 pistols.... so there is no reason a QB 7X wouldn't be OK in .25 cal....

well i was trying to build a hybrid qb78/79 shinsung but when i got the shinsung Box of bits from the states  the valve was missing so now carnt get one so looks like $200 down drain for this box of bits so now it looks like 78/79 with a .25 barrel fitted ,The amount of air is not a problem as will be using 20oz bulk tank connected all the time,

Well after several emails to supplier's in the states + surrounding areas nobody can or wants to help so looks like this project is going in the trash bin,, shame really as cash was waiting for the part or for somebody to offer to make one for me,,
