Title: Insight on the Crosman Storm XT?
Post by: Bigbuddha74 on April 15, 2012, 01:59:48 AM
Hey folks,

Rather new around these boards, but just wanted to post and find out what you all that may own a Storm XT thought about it? I have been eyeballing it for a coupe weeks, and m having a hard time on the decision. I would love to know the pros and cons of this rifle. Maybe some "real" specs, what the chrony really has to say, you know, honest real world opinions.

Thanks in advance to all the help!

-Sean

i have one and its a decent first gun and easy to work on.First thind i would do to her for starters is get a CDT trigger then she would shoot very nice! On mine i would get between 8-870 fps depending on what weight pellet i used.

just get a hatsan 150. much better gun for the money.  Im done with break barrels and moved to under levers. Also from my personal experience break barrels work fine with regular open sights when both the rear and front sight are mounted on the barrel.  I have two break barrels one a titan gp with alot of work done and a remington vantage.  the gp wont group very well at 50 yards with a scope, i get  about baseball groups and an occasional stray shot.  the remington has regualr sights and shoots ok.  if your wanting to use a scope i would look into a fixed barrel gun. if you like regular sights your prob ok.
