Title: Predecessor to the QUATTRO trigger
Post by: Tarheel on April 09, 2012, 10:24:24 PM
I found a pic of this trigger on a Russian website. I believe it is the predecessor to the QUATTRO trigger . . .

Simple, "Comrade" . . . They have the best LARGE photo's of Hatsan rifles that don't come off a manufacturer's website !

LOL !

Between Dave Ezman 604 and myself we have seen the development of the different Hatsan trigger since around the year 2000. We both have made parts for them including trigger blades and intermediate anvils.

There must be at least 6 to 10 different styles of triggers since then. All leading up to the newest Quattro triggers. I have not seen this particular trigger in any Hatsan made air guns that I have owned but would imagine by looking closely at your picture that it is a copulation of at least three different style pre Hatsan Quatro triggers.. IMO it is not a factory produced trigger but one that has been heavily moded.

Below are some older Hatsan triggers. You can see the similarities.

To me it looks like the plastic trigger (last 2 pics Gene posted) with a custom sear and either a custom blade or the blade from another gun.

Amazing how many different designs just with the one leading to the quattro, I love that design btw, I even love how it seems to float/ of course others interpret that as wiggle.

Seriously,  it only wiggles when  you make it wiggle,  other wise it pulls straight back  like its floating  ;)

It looks a lot like the trigger from my Walther falcon hunter, except my trigger blade was black plastic and the housing covered the parts

Yeah thats the old plastic Hatsan trigger in the WFH, still comes in the mod 33 and 35, and used to be in most of there guns pre quattro.
Compare the pic in the first post to the last 2 Gene posted, there pretty much identical except for the blade which looks like a cast blade, and the sear above the blade which looks out of place since its appears to be machined steel.

"---would imagine by looking closely at your picture that it is a copulation of at least three--->

I've seen some wonderfully hilarious gaffes on this board---made a few myself--- but I think we have a new leader! ;) :D ;D

I will resist the obvious quips although it pains me greatly to do so. 8)
