Title: Gas Ram for Mod95
Post by: Magman116 on April 09, 2012, 08:51:38 PM
Those that may know, what is the stroke needed for a Gas RAM to fit the Mod95?

I think a Moller 90-100 red would work, but am unsure of the stroke length.  I think the 90-125 would be too long.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Chris,

Unfortunately, I don't know if the stroke on your model 95 is 100mm, or not.  If it is, a 19mm x 100mm Nitrogen Gas Spring ( "gas ram" ) would be the size you would need.

The model 125's use a 125mm stroke length . . .

I found a thread where you posted some spreadsheets of different specs on compression chambers and there was the 105 listed.  It has the same power plant as the mod95 and showed a piston stroke of 100mm.  So, I would imagine the Moller 90-100 would work.

I think Gene used a n-forcer mf19-100 in a Daisy/winchester/mod95.  I need to see if I can find the thread again.

Dave, that was it.  Thanks for posting it over here too.

I found Gene's thread on his Winchester 850x conversion using a Crosman RAM.  The process should still be the same.  He didn't post the stroke length or the specs of the Crosman RAM (size and stroke).

With the Hatsan 105 having a 100mm stroke length I will get that size gas RAM and see how the conversion goes.  If I don't like it, I will put it in my Benji Trail.
