My newest baby showed up tonight but first off I wanna say Mike M is the man, not only did i get a sweet deal on the rifle, he choked and crowned the barrel, lube and tuned her, and also did the second trigger screw addition at no charge ;D, then the icing on the cake he threw in two piston seals for my b-21 and a leather one for my qb-36, needless to say he will get my business from now on, thanks mike, will post pics soon

By all accounts Mike is a great guy and a pleasure to do business with. I'm enjoying the B25 I just bought from him. Please do keep us up to date on the XS-28. I'd love to hear about your experience with it--Shot cycle, power, accuracy etc.

Congrats on the new shooter! Mike is awesome for sure. Post pics when ya get a chance.

put plenty of lead through her but finally had the time to mount the hawke elevation adjustable weaver base with the new design walmart centerpoint 4-16x40AOIR. Guys this rifle hits hard and is by far the most accurate shooting, smoothest firing cycle gun i have, sorry pics are from the phone, and thanks again MM for the kick @@@ rifle ;D

I kept (keep) telling people that this is the gun to get. Power beauty and accuracy all in one. The 48" I didn't care for so I take 4 inches off the end but that's my preference. Mike is a great guy and does great work. I will be getting at least one more XS28 in .22 from him and will have him apply all his magic to is before it leaves his shop.

better get one now because he just posted his sale prices this morning. I had planned on chopping and recrowning the barrel when I got it but when the box arrived he labeled it as the barrel has been choked and recrowned. I do love the accuracy of it and just have not been able to bring myself to hacking it off fearing ill kill my accuracy

Hey Mike does your rifles with brakes have the rws universal brakes?
-
i don't mean to change the subject but do any of you know how these things do stock/ unmodified?
-
not first hand but i think there ok, I mean a had a ruger airhawk that im sure is a rebranded BAM it was fine out of the box but was a diff rifle after i tuned it

Yes. But I filled in the holes and put in bigger grub screws.

Mine out of the box was rough but shootable. I recommend getting a tune or tuning it yourself it really makes a difference.

Donny: Looks like you have the Hawke adjustable mount on backwards. I have 2 of these mounts.

you are correct and if you look closley you can see the breech block/barrel assembly actually vers up, must have been machined wrong at the factory. with the mount backwards i was able to compensate for it, the accuracy is so dead on i fear replacing the barrel with a new one, Mike M choked and recrowned this barrel and its to near perfect to mess with.

thanx, guys. i was thinking of making one of these my first .25, but i just got an AG so it will be a while anyway. appreciate you satisfying my curiosity. i'll go now so as not to hijack.

imo you cant go wrong as long as its tuned, theres always room for more airguns, just tell the wife to move over some of her shoes in the closet to make room ;D

Dude! Howd you pull off mounting a vise on the kitchen counter! Lol nice rifle. Its hard to beat the 350/28 and other clones. Power and accuracy are awesome.

hey guys what can i use on the stock to polish her up to a nice shine?
-
Polishing compound like you use on a car finish. Not the rubbing compound. Then follow up with McGuire's Scratch-x, Then wax it. Should shine like glass after that.
-
use auto rubbing compound, usually twice will bring it up to smooth, then use polishing compound twice or three times to really shine, wax with good caranuba wax, stay away from sharp edges on stock as finish may be thin there...

Very nice! Congrats and enjoy!!
