You get what you pay for, no more no less. Your going to get basic chinese quality, just, not made in China  :o. Its going to be about the same in accuracy, power, size, and trigger pull as your Nitro Venom, just, slightly lighter, and will probably feel more toy-like.

My suggestion, save your pennies for something that will last forever. A good Benjamin 392 or 397 will last for generations. Get it "Mac1-ed", and you have the power, no recoil, and accuracy of a PCP, without the high cost of air sources.

It's considered a magnum gas ram shooter and have plenty of power to small game hunt. I've tune some for customers and they are a solid shooter. Ed

They will last a long time if tuned correctly. Stock....may last a forever, may not last long at all, just depends on how lucky you are.

The Trail XL is a good hunting rifle IMO. Get it sighted in with the artillery hold (ill explain why), with some accurate domed pellets, and your all set for hunting.

The reason you need the artillery hold, isn't necessarily for group size, but for controlling POI. With a regular powder burner grip on my XL, I get GREAT groups, but if you hold the rifle slightly different, your POI shifts. Using the artillery hold, I get just as good groups, but the POI remains consistent.

just got the 125 sniper and already looking?    your addicted haha

the xl sounds like a hit or miss.  im sure it would be a great gun after a trip to shadow.      I almost bought one when walmart had them for $230 shipped, but didnt want to risk getting another lemon and having to spend $100+ more dollars to get it shooting right.
